@donttouchmethere Oh, that brings back memories. I once danced with a group of Cybergoths, friends of mine, at a nightly small scaled event, they were missing a girl of their crew so they were looking for someone they knew which didn't mind dressing lightly so I replaced her and it was a success in the end. They even gave me the fully functional gasmask with filters turned into fans that I used then to keep afterwards. This makes me think I should strike a few tunes with them sometime soon...

Everything But The Girl ?

Haha, I guess; it felt like they were rather incomplete without a She.

Yes, they were lucky you showed up.

I guess my Goth times ended than the Cyberpunks slowly conquered the dance floor and displaced all of us zombie dancing Goths ?

Yeah, it's sad this is less common - or should I say less apparent - nowadays. I usually rather dance in a slow though fitting rhythm according to the song, trancelike.

I don't want to rub it in but speaking of dancefloor, Master once organized an event at a nightclub in another town, can't recall the name of the place as it was cheesy and drab.

We had reserved the place for a week for cheap and managed to gather a lot of fellow Goths - from mouth to ear, as far as I know - to the party and, surprisingly, most danced in a trademark Goth fashion. Some 600~ish different people showed up in total throughout the seven days.

One of the best parts was that by the third day, when the beat dropped as the sun was about to rise, everybody that came back at least once had learned to drop to the ground and play dead a few seconds. I don't know who had started it but it was amazing.

Or even how happy those two underage baby bats I had let in through the back door were to get in, I served them juice and water and we chatted about music, fashion and their insecurities about "being Goth enough".

I can't say I was around in the "golden age" so I'll instead go with "Ah, I wish to go back to that week."

(Something to stay on topic:)
