HDT hair for followers?

Is it possible to give a follower HDT hair? I have tried using Alternate Actors, but when i revert back to my character, my follower's hair just stretches to infinity.I have tried looking for a solution but could not find one, although there are users who say they have succeeded by using this method. The other physics work great though( the outfits and boobs etc) only the hair doesn't work right.I'm using HDT 14.28.

Hair for NPC, including followers in the ESP or ESM defined in Actors. Only for player does hair selection. You can either edit the hairstyle of followers in CK in Actors. Or you create the hair as a wig and defines them in CK as a helmet (Slots and keyword)
