Dominion mod for New Vegas - What I wouldn't give :)

Just putting it out there, considering the huge modding talents on this site

 

A mod for New Vegas based on the "Dominion" series on Syfy would be mindbending to say the least!  It already takes place in "Vega" as it is

 

All the post-apocalyptic base is in place, (there's Sexout for all of us who love the purely adult sex parts to be made compatible with), but it would take modeling, some mechanics work and great story telling of course.  I wish I was a modder capable of this, but, put an idea here in hopes to perhaps kick-start something

Every modder here started out clueless. They opened the software, googled the terms, and played around.

As KainsChylde stated. Start on the project. Do what you can do and assemble some of the story etc. Other here will either help or guide you.. It will be lots of hard work but in the end you will learn so much. It is a doable project so far as your description is in the OP is concerned. For example if you can't do anything start with dialogue, quest markers and use random generic items for custom items needed to be created. Something to show you are trying. You will be surprised at how much help you can get.

 

As far as someone just starting a project like this.. highly unlikely. Most are working on their own projects provided they are able to and have the time to.
