Error, papyrus util 2.2 mssing

Hi guys, the problem is, i have allready installed the sexlab framework V1.58b, but i can not use, because the error papyrus util IS missing appearce in the screen, sorry for my bad english, but well that is all, of course i havei installed the papyrus util

 

 

Some one have a solution to that?

I'm having the same issue but my game message is telling me I need version 2.5 or higher (the latest version I can find is 2.3).

 

From the forums I've search everyone is saying to make sure you have Microsoft visual studio c++ installed correctly.   I already have this installed and I'm still getting this issue as well.

The downloads link lists ALL versions of PapyrusUtil up to 2.5, it is the top entry in the list.

What Mod Manager do you use?

Can you provide a screenshot of error?

Are you using SKSE to start game and what version?

How did you install PapyrusUtil?

Can you provide a load order?

Can you provide a papyrus log?

Nexus Mod Manager: 0.49.1.0

I start the game with the skse 0.1.7.1

I installed manulay the payrus copy and page in the data folder

I do not know the papyrus log, where is

I can not take a screenshot for the error

check to see if you have a "Data" folder under the "Data" folder

No, i do not have a data folder into data folder

Check Data\skse\plugins to see if it has StorageUtil.dll in it

Check Data\scripts to see if it has :

ActorUtil.pex

JsonUtil.pex

MiscUtil.pex

ObjectUtil.pex

PapyrusUtil.pex

StorageUtil.pex

and a folder called "source" in it

ok i have gotten the popup with 'outdated or missing papyrusutil, sexlab requires papyrusutil v2.6 and check storageutil.dll is in skse/plugins. do you have to copy everything out of both folders to get it to work or just storageutil.dll? i copied the skse folder from the 7z and that was the only thing it asked to replace. i think SOS has overwritten some of the files in the other folder and i would rather not overwrite them if so.

 

EDIT: copying the skse folder only from the zip works i think. i didnt get the error. i THINK all it did was replace that one file which was 630kb and the new one 730kb or something

I am not sure, I may be remembering wrong, But I had a simular problem, and I think the installation of SOS was changing things that SexLab had already installed.

May not have anything to do with your problem. But thought it worth mentioning.

 

I fixed my problem by un installing SOS, NMM

 

then re installing it, and monitoring it closely, and not allowing SOS to over write anything that sexlab 1.58b had already installed.

 

SOS can also mess you skeleton up, it is a good idea to watch what is being installed. I love SOS it just kind of need to be watched when installing.

Thank you, this fixed the problem I had updating sexlab 1.58b to 1.59. I made sure not to let SoS override sexlab mod and it got rid of my papyrus error message and sexlab worked. I still have issues with lip sync not working but that's something else.

FINALLY, figured this mess out.. It's because SOS is setup to be installed with a mod manager, when Sexlab is easier to just extract into the data folder.. (I use Mod Organizer) So as long as SoS is loading from the manager and Sl from the game Data folder, SoS is always going to override SL's settings... SO I just extracted SoS's parts manually into data, then SL after, and it fixed it. It'll probably work the same way if you just make sure they are Both installed through a manager and SL is overriding SoS, and not the other way around. At least that was My reason for the error.

I get the outdated or missing papyrus error message when I load my game, but it still appears in the mod manager. Should I just ignore the message then?
