i know i am a complete idiot, but i downloaded so many mods for my Oblivion game several years ago.  Now here I am stuck with a bloated batched patch where I only have a handful of files that are not included or referenced in it.  One is a file called 0fsexylingerie.esp.  Could someone please give me some detailed info on this file and what it does so i can determine if I really need it or not.  Thanks.

Might be this one http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/39145/? which is a converted version of this one http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/23589/? I throw .esp's way so I'm not sure as I add what I want from someones mod to a .esp that I made.

You could look in your mesh folder and search for sexy and lingerie and see what you get that might get you the info you need. Use nifskope to load the mesh up to see what they look like. http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifTools Might also be able to find out what it is by using tes4edit not sure if it works on bash patches or not it should if it's a .esp.

For starters, read the pinned threads at the top of the section BEFORE posting.  Asking oblivion questions in the general tech section won't help you.  I'll be moving the thread to the correct location.

 

You need to first and foremost POST YOUR LOAD ORDER.  Also post the link to the mod in question.  If you can't be bothered to provide us the information to help you, why would you expect any help?  The less guessing you make us do, the faster and better we can help you.  Modding oblivion isn't a point and click deal.  You are going to have to do some reading.  The alternative is to play the vanilla game.  Sorry.

As for load order......that has nothing at all to do with my question.....I just wanted to know what the file I asked about was.  That does not need my load order, at least in my opinion. and I really doubt my load order would tell you much in regard to my question anyway.  I really do not feel the need to post all my favorite ice cream flavors to ask if this one is chocolate or not.  That is just my opinion however.   All I wanted to know was what mod 0fsexylingerie.esp belongs to.  My load order will not help that.

 

And I cannot post a link to the mod in question if my question is which mod this esp belongs to! 

 

And btw, I have tons of mods to Oblivion so please do not preach about playing Vanilla Oblivion.  I have so many mods I cannot count any longer.  That is why I need the  help in identifying this one, so I can decide to replace it or not.  I have not played Vanilla Oblivion in a long long time.

If you are so experienced, then open the damn file up with the CS and figure out what it does yourself instead of asking such a vague question.  Good grief.  That is a 5 second freaking task.

Open it with Tes4Edit and you know what it is . ( or CS)

And you see 8 clothes, one chest and one worldspace

 

So what could it be ? A clothes Mod with 8 clothes in a chest placed in a worldspace or a Zombie quest Mod?

That, your mentioning the word Nexus in this context, no matter how you word it or apologize up front is a bit of an insult to the hard working, helpful and patient Moderators, Contributors and general members that like to help others here on LL.

 

And again communicating this way; "please do not preach" comes off as a bit condescending. I feel you need to show a bit more respect for the volunteers here trying to help you. If you cannot or do not wish to follow their guidelines on how to help you, maybe you should just look elsewhere for help.
