Skyrim Body Question

Just for curiosity's sake, I'd like to know why the UNP body is so immensely more popular than the UNPB body for Skyrim (Really makes finding armor and clothing conversions difficult) main reason I am bothered by this question is that the UNPB body is more in line with realism than CBBE (which from what I've seen is about the most popular one) yet it still gives the ample breasts.

I know that UNP has about the most support CBBE is probably a close match if not tied with it, but is it that way just simply because it is where the mod support is, or is it cause it's what people actually want?

Well here is a brief history of the body mod as I know it

CBBE and UNP were kind of the first two popular available bodies, they serve different crowd initially.

They also became the "baseline" mod that most use.

Then CBBE start to dive into bodyslide to let it morph into all kind of different shape.

UNP on the other hand got morph into a few more proper releases that are all based on UNP with UNPB coming out sort of being a popular one, sort of a "bigger breast variant of UNP" (later on we have UNPC, Top Model, 7B and its 3 different variations, UNPBO, and probably others)

 

Now speaking from a pure number perspective it is probably a good guess that armor that were released between the release of UNP and UNPB will not have a UNPB version available unless someone go back to convert it.

Also even after UNPB releases you also have to question if anyone would make armor specifically for it since UNP and CBBE were still the "baseline" popular mod.

Then you eventually reach the point where UNPB gains its popularity do mods start coming out for it, but at the same time the UNP train isn't stopping.

Next we start running into newer bodies like 7B and the likes taking over some market shares

I suppose, at this point it's just easier to jump into one of the two instead of trying to snatch at what I can find for one of the smaller variants instead (as any attempt I have made to try and convert armors has been completely hopeless, even with guides it's like gibberish to me trying to read them). Since I like UNPB I'd probably have to go over to CBBE as the breast sizes for UNP are far to small and (I don't really wanna say unrealistic but they just don't look as full as breasts normally would for the body that they are on, I guess is the best way to word it, least in my opinion on the matter)

I would but the body has far to athletic of a look to me for some reason, unless there's some sort of variant that I don't know of, otherwise 7B would be perfect as LL seems to have conversions for nearly all the armors I can ever want

There's also UNPB(O)

Which has the bonus of all the converted armor are all in one thread 

I use HDT 7B with lowest weight so it looks less athletic, but breasts aren't the biggest out there.

 

Also armor between UNPB and 7B could look decent enough but maybe a little of a case by case kind of deal. Try it anyways.

Here's a really nice base UNP body ready for use with HDT. But there isn't a lot of TBBP/HDT stuff for base UNP right now. Honestly? There's more UNPB stuff with physics.

If you are using a UNP based body and texture then you can get away with using any UNP/UNPB/7B/UNPBO/UN7B/etc clothing/armor sets.

I use DemonFet which is a UNP 7B shoulder and breasts with a UNP torso, butt, hip's, and leg's.

There are only a few armor's converted for Demonfet (and I don't think its on nexus) so I make due with a mix of UNPB and 7B armors.

Cause once you put the torso part of the armor on the underlying body conforms to the shape of the armor (IE there is a base shape in the mesh file of the body the mesh was made for).

 

Hopefully Citrus will take off and we will see some Body Slide UNP sets show up.

Once that happens then you'll be able to batch build armors to the UNP body type of your choice...

 

Also if do go to a CBBE setup, then look at the version called "CBBE Fixed Butt Small"

That version keeps the upper of the CBBE and has a smaller waist, butt, and legs.

You can get it inside of Body Slide 2 (which also comes with outfit studio).
