I think the Ningheim look good, but with the right mods any human race would look good.

I use the Temptress Race with 7B Bombshell BBP body, Fair Skin Complexion Textures, SG Hair Pack and Better Makeup for SKSE, plus RaceMenu, and it's amazing, simply amazing, but even without all that, the Temptress Race is awesome, it's by far my favorite custom race, and there's a CBBE version if you want to check it out !!!

i would also second temptress and ningheim.  you may need to replace the body meshes from the installations to get the tbbp/hdt effect.

however, if you are planning on using races just for the looks, i would recommend using ECE

Gotta agree with being able to make good looking human characters (All the elves I've created are fuck ugly, despite everything I've done to try and change that) with just a few cosmetic mods.

 

Also the two races I'd recommend are the Valkyrie and Epic Elves races (although my own Epic Elf somehow transformed into an epic human but that's a minor problem that has no bearing on anything really)

I also like the Succubus race - they're quite lovely. I know other popular ones are Lunari and the Ashen, but they're not really my taste. Still nice, though. There are a couple Drow races made as well with different looks to them, so you can take your pick there.

You can make really good looking characters even with vanilla races, if you use the right mods of course. Racemenu / ECE (pick your choice) are a good start.

Yup, all you need are the vanilla races (or the ygNord that comes with ECE). That's all....with some mods of course.

 

Good textures, ECE, a few big hair packs, Eyes of Beauty, SG Brows, Brows, Pretty Lips. You won't need anything else. Maybe some ECE presets and here in General is a thread full of shared character presets to use with ECE. You could just tweak one or more of those to come up with something awesome.
