TheOzoneHole Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Okay, so yes, there is another topic like this but it seems to be dead, and I'm not sure that this is really the place for this but it involves SexLab and other adult mods so I felt here was better than the Tech Support forum. I've just started using MO to sort my Skyrim install, and I'm trying to get things working right. At the moment no sex animations play when ever they are called. Pictures being worth the known number of words, here's what I'm seeing when I run FNIS from MO. Everything is installed and activated, and FNIS is finding Devious Devices, but nothing else. Walk animations are working, and sex animations were working on another save, but that save had other issues and I chucked it. I've tried using the FNIS Checker options, and running FNIS from the Data folder, but suddenly, nothing works. Any advice, ideas, etc most welcome. Thanks in advance. EDIT: MO now also gives me an error saying that FNIS failed to run, even though it clearly did run. EDIT 2: Its late and I'm a bigger dope than usual. Just kill the tread, thanks.
DarkMaximus Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Might be a bit clunky but tyou can do this: 1. Install FNIS Always Necessary as a mod in MO - it will end up in MO's 'mod' folder 2. Point MO's executable launcher to GenerateFNISforUsers.exe located in this folder - I uncheched 'close MO' 3. Run FNIS via MO - screen should come up as in your pic - select appropriate anims - click Update FNIS etc 4. FNIS compiles anims - it might take a few seconds but then control should return - click 'exit' and FNIS closes 5. Green bar in MO should run at the bottom of MO. 6. The new anims are now found in MO's 'overwrite' folder in 'meshes'. You can leave them there or create a new mod with the contents ove the overwrite folder - MO's left-hand panel at the bottom - right click on 'overwrite' - 'create mod'. A new mod containing only the animations can thus be made in MO's 'mod' folder. In the future when you run FNIS you can simply cut & patse the 'meshes' folder from 'overwrite' to your new FNIS anims mod in MO's 'mod' folder. This way you can seperate out the anims out from all the other data that goes into Skyrim's 'data/meshes' folder at start up. You might have to experiment a bit with load order. 7. FNIS will also create a 'tools' folder in the 'overwrite' directory - I find it easier if you just leave this in the 'overwrite' directory and not move it to the new anim dir you created. 8. Skyrim should work with the new anims.
TheOzoneHole Posted June 14, 2014 Author Posted June 14, 2014 Or I could remember to install FNIS Spell pack so it stops giving me an error.
