The most realistic Skyrim

Recommended Posts

Hello there forum. I'm a complete newfag and is currently searching for ways to make Skyrim as realistic as possible. And i thought: "well, sex is a primary need. So that goes in" and now im here. Since i'm a filthy newfag i don't know how things work. Is it a guide somewhere?
And what are the best fornication mods? Seen from a realistic standpoint.

From a realism standpoint, the three mods you'll probably want are:

1) Requiem: The Roleplaying Overhaul    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19281/?

2) Frostfall  (Hypothermia and Survivalism)    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11163/?

3) Realistic Needs and Diseases (requires sleeping eating and drinking, and makes diseases more realistic)   http://www.nexusmods.com/Skyrim/mods/26228/?

Keep in mind this is going to make your game BRUTALLY realistic however.  You'll spend most of the game, suffering from fatigue and hunger penalties and unless you're decked out like an eskimo, freezing to death too.  Not much of an exaggeration.  In the Northern part of Skyrim, you can only survive 30 seconds in the water, and better have a way to warm up and dry off when you get out.

Requiem has a ton of compatibility patches for it as well.

On top of those you may want to look at "Wet and Cold", which adds the visual effects of being wet or freezing to your character.  It's two expansions have some fun effects too.

Lastly get a good lighting and visual weather mod like "Pure Weather" or "Climates of Tamriel".

All the last mods can be found on Steam.

If you are going to use Frostfall you should look into these two mods. I use them with frostfall and it helps. To test out the whole of frostfall (on hardcore setting) by running into the sea in the northern most part of skyrim. I died from freezing.

The cloaks don't do much but it helps with decreasing your exposer rate. I recommend buying a leather tent kit from any general trader. The tent comes in handy when your character is in a pickle.
