luffyboy Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 @Dreamer102 Hmm try this : Select her \" quest \" in Quest log Use command \"movetoqt\" See if that works Tried that....CRASH. :-[ try redownloading and reinstalling the mod. also CSM may occasionally conflict with the mod but i dont think that is the cause of the ctd. The reason why you are ctding when you enter the bloated float is because there maybe some error with vilja. SAME REASON why you crash when you teleport her to you. the moment your com loads her, it finds that error and ctd. SO the problem lies around her. IF you are using vorb (i think i saw you at the thread before), ensure that it is installed properly, perhaps you may have a bad skeleton from past versions. bad skeletons have been known to cause CTD. Lastly if its a mesh/texture problem with the base file, maybe download one of the alternative looks that has been provided. load that alternative look esp below vilja and that should solve such problems. At least these are the experiences i have with CTD from companions and how i solved them. hope this helps

Diffrence between them is huge. (1-st Moding works really slow and have 80% to crash while entering cells ) ( Second works like a charm no crashes or anything )

(1-st Moding works really slow and have 80% to crash while entering cells ) ( Second works like a charm no crashes or anything ) HAHA TRUE THAT but after reinstalling oblivion for the 5th time. i have like close to a hundred (esm+esp as counted by wyre bash) and NO CRASHES at all . i guess the trick is too make sure that you know how the mod functions and how to sort your load order. btw i think i saw a flamer on HF flaming you about making use of other modders work, screw him! thanks for your uploads and hardwork! ^^

Dreamer102 Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 A COMPREHENSIVE companion mod was posted in TES:nexus this morning. the companions do alchemy, magic and an assortment of things, plus the mod adds a whopping load of new content to the game too! Old Book Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 I remember 1st Alchemy Companion from years ago. A beautiful mod in some ways. PurpleGandalf (iirc) did the dialog translation, and some of it was very good. Not full fledged Vilja level stuff, but still fun. The girls had personality. The mod itself was / is unbalancing as hell, with goodies coming out of your ears, but as with Ancient Towers, there's nothing forcing you to use the outright cheats. The newest version of 1stACJ includes options to not allow you to hire the companions before a certain level, or buy the uber weapons before a certain level.

All I know is that when I load up the mod, "The bloated float" becomes broken/inaccessible...and my game bl0ats out and locks up after about 4 hours playing time.

The reason is: I experienced similar problems when entering shops in the IC Market District. My cure was: Reduce mods to those you really need. Do some work with OBMM and Wrye Bash.
