DawnLord0 Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I'm looking for famous fictional companions for the oblivion companion mod. Has anyone created any?
HanPL Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Hmm famous and fictional... Well Companion Vija is for sure fictional and famous (and the best companion ever ) http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28977
quasimodo75 Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Another great partner mod, albeit more on the gloomy side: Viconia de Vir http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15200.
HanPL Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Viconia is great but package 1gb (after installing ) that is required for installing her...not so cool
Old Book Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 I love Vilja. Can't imagine playing without her. I played a small role in the Viconia team for a while, and I loved some things about the mod, but I never liked bringing the Underdark over into Tamriel. I'm not a Lore fanatic, but the Elder Scrolls has their own race of Dark Elves, their own underground empire, their own gods & demons; I'd rather stick to the lore when I can. I really can't think of any full companions like Drzzt (which I think is what the OP is looking for), but if you search the CM partners on Nexus you can find all sorts of companions modeled to look like celebs.
Deepfreeze Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 @Old Book - Long time no see. It's been a couple years since you helped me with Valeria's back story. That brings me to my favorite companion.. Valeria 2.0. This is a rebuild of the original Valeria companion released in 2006. She's not a romance-able companion, no quests, but she's pretty reliable. Fully voiced. I'll have to find a spot and re-upload her.
Dreamer102 Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Oooooh! Vilja V3 seems AWESOME!! Downloading now. THANKS for the tip!!!
HanPL Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Vilja Sonia Astrianna Neeshka Viconia I think they are the best companions for now.
Dreamer102 Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 I have had Saerileth a little bit less time as I've had Astrianna. She is good, but not that in-depth. Mostly a cure for my yellow fever. I'm really looking forward to Vilja3.0 with all that she can do. She will probably be my mainstay partner for everything!
HanPL Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 I think Vilja is far the best companions ever made. There was many companions/team members in many games but Vilja beats them all. Bethesda should learn from Emma how to make excellent companions.

Bethesda should learn from Emma how to make excellent companions. Agreed, very much so. She really raised the bar. Valeria 2.0 is excellent (I've been playing with her again a bit) for her flexibility. You can set her up very much as you want her and when. The OBSE version of Viconia is very nice both from a story pov and because it's so easy to give her custom spells without using another mod. Astrianna has nice custom voice work, and she's tough without going into over the top spell casting mode. I'm really digging the new look and animations Tafa100 has given her. Tafa100s other partners, Apolonia and Atlantes, are interesting. They're only CM Partners, so you're really not getting anything special in the way of dialog, but he has loaded them with custom animations, they're high powered and have a great over the top kinky look. They also come with a ton of extras, and Apolonia's Dremora is a fun undocumented extra companion if you have Mad Companionship or CSR. I'll always be fond of Rhianna Redux. She has a fair amount to say for a companion without quests, and the ability to give her a detailed schedule is still pretty impressive.
Guest Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Vilja proves once again that random modders are better than trained professionals. Vilja has over 3,900 voice acted lines, the combined amount of lines for all of the Orcs and Nords in the base game is around 2,400...

Dreamer102 Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Does anyone know how to move vilja (in the cs) to another location? I cannot enter the "bloated float" without crashing. I applied the "unofficial oblivion patch" but it does not fix it. I just need to know where to look in the CS to change her location or her formid code so I can teleport her to me to recruit her. Thank you, Dm
HanPL Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 @Dreamer102 Hmm try this : Select her " quest " in Quest log Use command "movetoqt" See if that works
Dreamer102 Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 @Dreamer102 Hmm try this : Select her \" quest \" in Quest log Use command \"movetoqt\" See if that works Tried that....CRASH. :-[
Dreamer102 Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Well, I applied the patch to the mod. Door to the bloated float still causes a CTD. Looked up the id for this chick in the CS. Her id says 01000ED3. In OBMM the mod says the form id/position is C7...so I go in game and type in the console: "PRID C7000ED3" and I get a message stating that "Item not found..." Damnit...this is so frickin frustrating. How the hell can I get this trick out the damn boat so I can use her!?!?! > > > >
saddad Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 What does prid mean? should'nt you type xxxx.moveto player instead?
Dreamer102 Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 turns out that the hexid in CS does not correspond with the id in-game. It turned out to be XX000e0F in-game (With XX being position in load order). I got her using "PRID" and "MOVETO PLAYER" with that code.
Wadarkhu Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Oh God, Vilja's voice! Dunno why, but it sounds so inept and err, just ew. Too bad, looks like a great companion.
Zerky Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Oh God' date=' Vilja's voice! Dunno why, but it sounds so inept and err, just ew. Too bad, looks like a great companion. [/quote'] Vilja is a great companion, but the voice kinda breaks the immersion for me. Since im from the same country as the author, it feels a bit awkward hearing native swedish mixed with english in an english game.
