Returning To Oblivion.

Okay, so, I haven't played Oblivion in around about a year, and I've kinda got the urge to play it again. But, I'm not really used to modding it, it's been a really long time.

I've got a few saves already there, but I don't remember any of the mods I've got installed, and I can't remember how to do... Anything, really. I tried adding a texture and stuff, and I've completely borked it, I don't even know how I've managed what I've managed, so I've decided to clear my folder completely. So, I've got a clear, unedited Data folder now.

I was wondering if there were any recommended mods that you guys would... Recommend to me?

I would be lying if I said I wasn't a massive pervert, one of the thumbnails of my old saves is my old dunmer locked up in stocks naked. I'm kinda wanting a way to make my characters and NPCs look, you know, sexy again, bouncing breasts, c-cups, lewd things, fun things, things that are generally fun and/or lewd.

I dunno. I'll try most of the things that are recommended to me, but yeah. I'm mostly looking for mods that improve character models right now, with bouncing breasts and realistic-looking breasts, crotch and ass areas.

First a note

Do not install Oblivion in the folder specified by the Installation ( C:\ programfiles.....), Change it, best not in C: (if your Windows crashed/virus and you must delete whole C all your mods are gone). Problem are the fucking administrator rights, some Oblivion programs do not work right with the standart Folder, or you have Problems to overwrite files,......

second: use Oblivion Modmanger !  NOT Nexus  Modmanger !!!!

Best to start: see LAPF install instruction here in the Spoiler http://www.loverslab.com/topic/21241-lapf/

All small Tools and programs you need to play Oblivion ( script extender, pluggy, silent voice,... )

And naked male and female Body and BBB animations.

The male Body comes with replacer for all original armor and clothes.

Note: Wrye Bash you can use but it is not a must. All other things you must have. ( pluggy can be Version 125c, I have Problems with V 132)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you want to play a custom Race you should be use this http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/1815/

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Female armor and clothes replacer

E Cup BBB http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/16750/

E and C Cup NO BBB  http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/24078/ and a BBB addon but only for the E Cup Version http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/34324/

DMRA BBB http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/42033/

I don't know any BBB C Cup replacer ( no replacer for all original armor and clothes )

Well, most of the things I've downloaded seem to work, except for the character models. My females have NO textures at all, their bodies are literally a single coloured blob, usually white or an odd shade of peach, and my male bodies (using Roberts) have so many ripping lines and such that it's just... Bleh.

I think it's due to the face texture mod (Oblivion Character Overhaul 2 or something), but it's really ugly. Not a fan.

If you want to know exactly what mods you had installed on your old saves, just use Wrye Bash, under the saves tab, right click on the save, and click "List Masters". This will give you a list of all the esp's you had installed. It has helped me backtrack and find some pretty awesome armor mods for my characters I had completely forgotten about. So I think maybe you should try archive invalidation in OBMM for your textures, otherwise I have no idea what you did wrong. Oblivion Character Overhaul 2 made my vampire character's face look weird... I had to change it with showracemenu and lose all my stats. Other people's faces (except Elsweyr Cat races) look fine for me.

Well, without some info about what kind of mods you're after, all that people can do, is recommend you THEIR favorite mods. And just recommending things because oneself prefers them isn't really my cup of tea. Heck, if you want that, why not just go on nexus, and set the sorting order to popularity?

This being said, the basics obviously are:

- Oblivion with DLCs

- Unofficial oblivion patch

- OBMM and possibly WryeBash

- OBSE, pluggy, menueque, etc

- If you want eyecandy and have a fast GPU: OBGE

- if you have a widescreen display - fov modifier: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/23080/?

- fastexit2 to avoid the annoying CTD when exiting oblivion

- elys universal silent voice

- a mod to give you more hotkeys. "Improved hotkeys" will give you the basics. But if you want something more complex, there are others

Those are the basics - you might want to make a backup of your entire oblivion directory, once you got those running.

Beyond this - whatever else you decide to use - golden rule: Add one mod at a time - test and play it for a while - then add ONE additional mod. If you download a truckload of mods and install them at once, your will get a mess ,and you will have no idea what might be the cause.
