Best Skin Texture Mod?

Despite all the discussion on armor and female body mods, i find there really isn't any answer on skin texture mods.

So, what are the best skin mod that give

1. Finest complexation

2. Oily/glossy skin texture

3. Skin so white that it's almost pale

What ENB affects the skin texture to give Oily/Glossy skin texture?

It's a setting for the ENB that increases the sheen. There is also "gloss tech" on Nexus that gives that effect, but I'd suggest the low gloss version since even medium is too glossy.

There is Fair Skin, Creamy, and a couple other that are very smooth. Making them pale is adjusted in the character creation menu by adjusting skin tone. You can make any skin as pale or as dark as you like. I prefer FSC Univision Sweaty (it's on Nexus and it's with the Top Model body in the files sections).

"gloss tech"

Oh for crying out loud, why do you people keep on recommending this ancient piece of rubbish?

You can achieve an more "oily" and wet look instead of glossy and plastic by altering values in nifskope along with this. Or other mods like sweaty body included in the Fair Skin Complexion mod (search here), or Sporty Sexy Sweat that looks like milk instead of sweat (but still better than glosstech). There are tutorials here so I recommend for you to search along the lines of "BSLightingshader" or "Lightingshaderproperty".

Don't make me go on a "English-speaking modding community are all about quantity over quality" rubbish rant please.

LMAO! Glosstech does suck (in my opinion), but it's an option if someone likes that placticky/oily look. I don't, but someone else might.

FSC Univision Sweaty is where it's at for me. It's awesome as just shiny enough. I wouldn't want more shine than that. And the texture is seamless for me if I use both the body and head textures.

And about this rant of yours? What the heck would that be all about? How would it be related to "English-speaking" anyway?

Ah well, I can't disagree with that argument.

About the rant, its the kind of stuff you argue when you're drunk. Basically a time-waster, something that I'm pretty good at. Well its something along the line of how people who speak English as their native language*pssst* it also include me.in the modding community are much larger in numbers than the people who either don't speak English, use google translate, or English is their non-native. Yet it seems that the minorities are producing better content a.k.a mods, have better taste in creating characters, and are just overall more appealing to me even if I ignore their size and language issues they face.

I suppose it relates with why you would recommend something outdated and tasteless like glosstech. I still can't believe people, in 2014, still use Bella's and say to themselves, "I'd hit that". I've been here since early to mid-2012 and I can't help but notice this disappointing difference.

This is not really necessary, but why the hell not.

I'm going to say that most of my references come from the East. I think that due to how Eastern culture depicts beauty and categorizes it's importance, they are better when it comes to appearance in Skyrim's character creation. But unlike cultural issues we face in reality like plastic surgery, anorexia, etc. Skyrim is a place of fantasy, where you can create anything to your will without any "large"-scale harm done to society.

But in the end, this is nothing more than an opinion.

So yea, that's pretty much what my rant was. Stupid, out of my mind, not to be taken seriously, something in that context I do when I have quite a length of free-time. You've probably seen similar arguments from people who are just bored in this peaceful decade.

Anyways I use the same specular texture you're using. I've used some okay-ish textures before, but the detail in FSC's sweat mod is amazing.

I like skins that look good for ALL skin tones. 90% of them are made for white skin and look terrible on darker characters. They'll lack detail and the nipples are invisible. I think there's really only 3 skins that work well across the board for real skin tones at least. Not sure about the blue-ish ones. I wont name any, but for anyone who tries to be realistic dark skinned character you'll know which ones work and which don't

Your earlier post had one positive at least. I went and downloaded Nifskope and made my own oily effect. It was pretty easy once I got my head straight and got all the settings identical between the 0 and 1 nifs.

I like Fair Skin Complextion texture the most of all the skin mods. Hhaley is working on a sweaty/wet body version or maybe she has it up already.

I heard there's a new one coming. But the one that's available on the Nexus (on the Top Model download page) is my favorite to date. I don't know if he/she could do any better. And that's already a 4K texture as it is (I looked at it in Nifskope today).
