nutluck Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 If anyone gets this working can they post a gif or video? Just curious and currently not at my home computer.
raynark Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 So Just gave it a quick test run since I saw it and all sadly I can't get it to work the armor won't load the heavy chest piece so thats an issue but hey it could be because of me and wrong installation you never know and most of the time its usually the person installing the mods fault. Also I checked all the other armor types and still no change the cloth and light load but no hdt so just letting you know what I found
blabba Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 yea, I only put hdt link on the heavy piece. It seems I forgot to set dismember partition to SBP 32
raynark Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I see well if you need someone to go and test I'm still free and open so just let me know.
blabba Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 preliminary test image from cell xD: He tested on the latest HDT 14, so I think I'll try a test with 10 or 11 see if it looks nay better, if not I guess I'll just have to redesign the movemnt xml a bit more. Oh well, at least something happened.

blabba Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 It actually works/sways fine if you stand still, but if you move the character, it spazzes out like crazy. Tweaking xml to see if I can figure out how to fix that.
blabba Posted May 9, 2014 Author Posted May 9, 2014 All right, tested and checked, the xml works fine in 10-24 of HDT DLL. I did a quick find and replace to update it to v14 of the HDT DLL as well and now it moves as expected. Got some major clipping issues and stuff due to lack of collision boxes for body and I could probably refine the inertia more. Oh yea, and fix the abysmal weight copy. But TBH, this was more a proof of concept. I'd post a gif of it working, but TBH my internet sucks. Overall took me a few hours to make this 'generic' xml, (I'll release the newly updated and slightly fixed version in downloads in a short while) So I guess people can go ahead and use the xml generically and add somewhat good looking physics to loincloth meshes (please note, you'll need to tweak individually for perfect what I like to call 'quality' releases)
Trystanwolf Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 preliminary test image from cell xD: Oh well, at least something happened. That looks kinda cool, like some smoke beast pet standing guard. The problem I have between OS and 3ds is the meshes are different sizes. I don't know how to fix that. Anything I make in 3ds then import to OS is a tad smaller. Even in 3ds, when I turn off the skin modifier, I can see the skin grow about 15% or so. As for transfering weights in 3ds, have you tried to save the weights then load them to the new bones? I think it would work as long as you're trying to replace a bone 1 for 1. I made a left and right tassle and managed to copy the weights like that.

I made a left and right tassle and managed to copy the weights like that. I'm not doing 1 to 1weight transfer though. I'm trying to add new bones and weight values from 1 skin to another. And it seems like 3dsMax has no native way to do that and no one has made a script for it yet (I've tried and searched for a very long time) Blender has scripts and tools to do this (thanks to gerra6's valiant efforts) but us 3dsMax users get bitten in the dust. The change you speak of is because the skins for whatever reason in 3dsMax contain transform data on them, easy way to fix is simply set skin to not allow deform after baking in the skin deforms to the mesh itself. This way you retain skin data without that annoying skin 'jump' effect. this also fixes misalignment issues in OS.
Yoo Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 *appears from nowere* hey orange thing! On 3DSMax, you could use a rigid skinwrap to transfer the vweights =) *and once again, disappears in a cloud of ash...*

(Is this another modifier or some sort of option for the SkinWrap Modifier?)
chajapa Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I have a question please. While I'm waiting for CITRUS....... I downloaded the 1.4 HDT CBBE body. Now I think you said at one time that the HDT 1.3 is CBBE essentially. So.... it uses CBBE textures, right? Well I happened upon a bunch of pregnant weighted outfits made (with permission) from CT77's remodeled armors. There's a version specifically for the HDT 1.3 body and one for ..... I THINK CBBE with HDT support. I downloaded the one for CBBE HDT and it seems ok, but the bellies don't scale on the armor as much as they do on the body. So I tried the version made for HDT body (the 1.3 HDT body) and on the HDT CBBE body they make the boobs stick out like almost twice as far. So..... there's a difference somewhere. Should I just go back to the HDT 1.3 body and sit tight for a while? thanks

I believe it's still in beta so if you have any problems it's best to PM him directly on Nexus or comment on his mod's page. Or you could sit tight and wait for citrus , but that will still take awhile xD
