Indeed. I'm very frustrated myself about the lack of place to upload a file, especially now that I need an even bigger BSA...

 

Guys, I beg you: can you ask around and find me a nice place to upload 3 to 4 GB uncompressed (probably 1.7 GB compressed) material?

 

As it CLS, porn ads are ok I guess...

I would try the thepiratebay.org maybe. They don't care that it is 'adult' material so less risk of it being taken down by the moral minority. Plus there are a number of Oblivion copies currently being pirated, not that I'm promoting that, just that it would fit in. Games|Oblivion

 

I would have loved to have suggested demonoid, but to many whiners there complain about adult stuff and it gets deleted fairly quick. Not that many sites to choose from to upload to when it comes to adult oriented stuff, at least not quality or reliable sites.

Did you ask Ashal ?? he may be up the filesize for you. So you could host it here directly. Piratebay is a no go.. That is also why they are forcing SOPA and PIPA and now ACTA on us..

 

Norammly i would say Megaupload but to bad it was taken down.. Was really great place to host mods. Mediafire is too slow.. Did you look at Multiupload ??

Not yet. For now I managed to upload the new version on the Nexus with only 7 parts, not too bad.

 

I'll check with Ashal.

 

BadBat111: isohunt like Piratebay etc. do not host I think. I can be wrong but I think they only give you links to torrents and so, not hosting place right?

You don't need to actually host the file on piratebay or anything, you can host the torrent anywhere, loverslab included, the only thing you need from piratebay is a tracker. Which is free for public use.

Honestly you can use all the trackers they list in that tutorial for a single torrent if you wanna be paranoid about one of them banning it, which is doubtful.

 

A torrent really is your best bet for good distribution, most anywhere you look is going to have problems with hosting a 1.7 GB file directly.

Not sure why you had to zip the torrent file, in most case that should be able to be downloaded 'as-is'.

 

FYI - I peaked at about 465k/sec which ain't too shabby! I'll move the torrent to my main PC next and seed as long as I can, or till my ISP shuts me down...
