kevanlol Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Can anyone give me a link to download the VORB tool to manually convert my own armors to vorb versions, or perhaps a link to a tutorial on how to do it without the tool.
europegop Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 I'd love that too, or even just a short set of instructions about how to vorbatize clothes in blender? Just because I'm not totally familiar with how Blender works, but I can follow instructions if they're pretty clear...
DeadSomething Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 too bad all the links for such tool have been leading to 404 or 403 or nonexisting hosts.
merctime Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 Ok folks, I'm going to upload the tool I have for this. Be advised, I dont know if this will work, what it requires, or what version of VORB it's for (1.5, 1.6, etc). You should read Vaderapp's post in this thread, on page 15, for instructions on how to use it. It might shed some light as to what version of VORB it is for also. Also be advised, it will take real scripting or possibly programming knowledge to make this work for the latest (1.6) version of VORB; Neither which I have knowledge-wise. As a Side note, I could not get it to work, but I don't have blender either (and don't know how to use it anyways). Also, it seemed to complain that I had a more up-to-date version of Python than this program was compiled with (I think I recall it was calling for 2.6.2 or some such? Not sure how that impacts the ability of this tool functioning properly). I'm not the author of the mod, so my help to you will be minimal. But, here it is: http://www.mediafire.com/?aaihppg4e80gn15 Also, here is where Vadersapp talks about how to use the tool, and what is required: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=84&pid=10112#pid10112 This is all I can really do. Hopefully, someone with the knowledge of how can update this to the latest version of VORB. I tried contacting Vadersapp a few weeks ago, and have not heard from him. He was very reasonable in the past, so this should be OK. Since I have not heard from him, I am releasing this under the assumption that he would have given permission to do so. This is based off of what I knew of him from when he was actively modding... He was very open to people sharing things for VORB. Vadersapp, if you come back, and want me to take the link down to your tool, or *do not* want anyone to make adjustments to it, please let me know and I will take this link down.
DeadSomething Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 thanks for the help i hope i can figure out how to use it. maybe i will upload my converted skimpy clothes then
europegop Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Thanks Merc, i appreciate at least the Opportunity to attempt to Vorbatize clothes. Vadersapp, if you are seeing this, I appreciate your mod, but a little support would really help us noobs out!
