Skjor and Aela Wont talk to me.

As the title says I can't talk to them. At first I thought It was a mod problem, but all the other NPC's are fine and I can talk to them. I finished the quest for farkas and he told me Skjor wanted to see me but I was unable to talk to him, then I tried other NPC's and Aela also.

 

So yea...Not sure how to fix this...Checked google but didn't find anything unfortunately.

Maybe a bounty in whterun?  If I remember correctly, I think that the companions can be affected by the bounties.

there is a mod trouble, many mods have to change the "Skjor and Aela" a negative influence on the quest, you should first complete the quest and then "activate" only mods for Aela! it has something to do with the transformation into a wearwolf.

Not sure what mod I have on that would affect them to be honest. Which is why im stumped. Normally I take a good look at mods before I download them but I guess either I missed something or something is going crazy wrong with my game lol. (Maybe both XD)

I remember when I started a couple of games using the Alternate Start mod and I started as a member of the Companions, whenever I got the mini quest where I had to deliver Aela's shield to her, I could never get Aela to take the shield or get Skjor to enter Aela's room, which would trigger me joining the Companions and Farkas showing me the living quarters.

 

I think this got bugged because of the fight that happens in Jorvasskr when the game first started. Skjor is watching that fight and it usually ends in sex, because of one of the Sexlab mods, probably Defeat. Anyhow, Skjor basically never leaves the room to go downstairs and talk to Aela.

 

If I remember correctly, the way I resolved this was to come back 24 hours later and then Aela and Skjor would be right where they are supposed to be the next day, in Aela's room.

 

Of course, this should be done before you talk to Aela and give her the shield or else it stays bugged because I don't think you would have the shield any more.
