zainale Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 from someone who has a ton of mods added to their game. should contain every kind of mod. i have been at it for quite a while now. i have spent more time trying to figure out the order then i have playing the game. some times i can get the game to work then i hit a snag like textures not being right (horses) or i cant get naked with out the game crashing or i get stuck laying down after sleeping or sex. any ways i have read the compatabilitys of most the mods and grabbed what i could of mods that where not hidden from here and nexus. anyways help would be greatful.
myuhinny Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34703/? FNVEdit by ElminsterAU Download it unzip it and run the .exe in it then it will start to load everything that you have installed in your game if it hits a error in your load order it will stop and tell you why in the bottom right hand area read it fix it close FNVEdit and repeat starting FNVEdit till it is able to load everything up without hitting any errors then try your game again.
gvman3670 Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Man, if you were running Mod Organizer you'd be able to fix these sorts of issues quickly and easily. The program will even warn you of bad LO issues and you can plainly see what conflicts there are. Plus you can just drag items up and down the list to fix those conflicts.
RitualClarity Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 gvman3670.. Also if there are textures that you need from a mod but the rest aren't needed and would normally overwrite the folders. you can choose each individual file that you need and arrange them in order as they are needed as well. A mod have a skeleton you don' t need but have to load it after the mod that has the one you need... no problem. Just change the order of the textures and meshes just like you have for the esp and esms.
zainale Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 i know its a little late to say it but i am running skyrim so this fnvedit will it work for it . also i will look for the Mod Organizer.i would still prefer to have a list as a guide.
gvman3670 Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 You will want TES5Edit instead of FNVEdit. Just so you know. It is on Nexus and can be found with a search there. You will never get a functioning load order, man. There are too many variables. I doubt anyone else on Earth has the same load order you've got and even if they did the optimal LO may not be the same on their system. This is why I'd suggest a clean start and installing Mod Organizer. The good news is that if you have a clean install and use MO then you'll never have to reinstall Skyrim again since it doesn't put anything inside the Skyrim directory/folder. And with MO you can see visual clues/symbols that warn of potential issues and it even offers suggestions on how to fix them. It's a great program. If you are modding and NOT using Mod Organizer you just aren't modding it right.

RitualClarity Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Try this as a general rule Skyrim.esmSkyrim.exeUpdate.esmDawnguard.esmHearthfire.esmDragonborn.esmSchlongs of Skyrim.esmSexlab.esmSexlabAroused.esmHentaipregnancy.esm-HDtexturepacks-UnofficialpatchesLoverscomfort.esp-clothingmods-immersionmodsSexlabdefeat.esp-racemenumodsSkyUI.esp-questmodsSchlongs of skyrim.esp-SoScockshapemodsSexlabromance.espSexlabsolutions.esp-*Any other Sexlab Mods*-gameplayeffects&changesmods-sortingmods-magicmods-hairmods-companionmods (Alicia, Vilja, Elly...)-altenatestartmods-Racemods-bashedpatchandotherdynamicpatches That might help. Afterwards use TESedit5 to make sure.
RitualClarity Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 ? Doesn't matter when you download and install TESedit. It just is to make sure that the load order has no missing masters. A second check. When you get better you might not even run TESedit very often. It won't show you all the problems but it will show you the major ones (missing masters = crash to desktop). The benifit is TESedit will prompt you with info that either you can use or you can post on a thread like this one to get answers to what might be happening and what to do to solve it. In time you will understand and be able to fix these yourself. The load order I gave was general gidance not a strict rule. Always (in order top to bottom) Follow the OP (original poster) of the MOD or Mod author's instructions Check the lists given when not instructed otherwise Run TESedit and fix errors given there I am new to Skyrim and I rarely have any issues with CTD load order issues. Some minor esp issues overriding other mods but those can be sorted out with practice and trial and error. I haven't even used TESedit to proof my load order yet just because I have follow the first two on the list above.
zainale Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 thank you ritualclarity that tes5edit is very helpful
