Anon96 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Ok so I have seen other people having this problem but I cannot find the solution. It just started happening to me I have tried re installing it and using it in a different location but nothing seems to work. My problem is that the textures in bodyslide 2 are too dark. http://i.imgur.com/iHIiGf7.jpg
hryh23k9823u Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Your drivers doesn't fully support Open GL 3.0, can be that you're using Intel HD integrated or old Ati Drivers.
Anon96 Posted April 5, 2014 Author Posted April 5, 2014 No I use an amd 7970 but I updated to beta drivers recently because the 13.12 one were causing bsod. But I read here: https://code.google.com/p/bodyslide/issues/detail?id=36 that there is code to fix it but I don't know what code to put in the defshader.fs file to multiply the colour.
blabba Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 That was more or less a notice for caliente herself. If you read she said that she might make it a user configurable setting later on. Try toggling the 't' button in Bodyslide to see if the textures come back brighter. If not, then Lother's probably right about your drivers and you'll need to wait for the program to update to use newer OpenGL libraries

I'm running an AMD hd 7970 with the 14.x drivers, newest ones. I don't have a problem blaming drivers, but it's not because they're old [edit] oh btw, t toggle didn't work.

It could be your nif's bsshader flags are incorrectly set (not too likely if using trusted published nifs and the textures look fine in game) 2. The problem isn't you having 'old' drivers, the problem is your NOT having 'old' drivers XD. Stupid I know, but for whatever reason, the OS view uses a really outdated/old version of the OpenGL libraries which is for the most part broken in terms of support of the newer drivers. (Only broken for ATI/AMD and Intel integrated drivers apparently at least from the bug reports I have seen. Nvidia works fine )
hryh23k9823u Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I didn't say it was caused by old drivers... It's more on the contrary, newer AMD drivers doesn't seem to provide full support for old OGL versions like 3.0 that I think is the one used by Bodyslide. I had that problem and I also coudn't see the weight painting or mask vertice tool. Try diferent drivers. Edit: Also what blabba said ^ To be sure about your divers support you can run this: http://www.realtech-vr.com/glview/download.php
Monsto Brukes Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 . . . can be that you're using Intel HD integrated or old Ati Drivers. No matter, I understand if my drivers are too NEW. That makes sense. Cuz it was working fine until I upd my drivers in an effort to turn off the SHITTY DEFAULT AO IN SKYRIM. I just noticed it the other day as I was changing ENB. Horrible diamond shaped bullshit on walls. Anyway, BS isn't a daily app, so turning texutures off works fine.
hryh23k9823u Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Oh sorry actually said that, 'old' was my mistake, I think I was actually thinking in 'legacy' which it was caused my troubles (old ati card in my case plus crappy win8 support.) It's no problem unless you wanna repaint some weights in OS but except for that it works just fine ~

hentaijin Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 I figured out why this was happening to me. I upgraded to AMD driver 14.4 when I reinstalled windows. 14.4 is horrible, stay with 13.12 14.4 is why I was getting black bodies, and I woke up today to my PC restarted due to a BSOD caused by this driver. Went back to 13.12 and no black bodies!

I have a Radeon 7970, and I have a important question Have been released new driver 14.4 stable version, have been solved all these problems with Skyrim and Bodyslide 2 ? or better to stick with the 13.12 stable ? I wanted to know because I wanted to install Watch Dogs, which should in theory be better with the new driver 14.4
bob11 Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Seriously, it must be ATI drivers. I've got an ATI 7970 here. I hadn't used Bodyslide for over a month, but at the time if was working correctly. The only thing I changed apparently was the drivers, moved to 14.4. I'll try the new betas and if these don't work, it's back to 13.12 (I mean the 14.4 didn't really fix much anyway). Btw, the T button DOES make the body bright but my main issue wasn't that. I can't see any weights whatsoever, which is the big issue as I wanted to make the meshes supplied with the Bodytypes mod pregnancy-enabled. Damn incompatibilities... That OpenGL viewer says all OpenGL from 3.0 and up are 100% supported though, up to 4.2 >_>
no-remorse Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Driver issue, only works nice if i download the driver from windows update.
Monsto Brukes Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Driver issue, only works nice if i download the driver from windows update. This thread is quite dead now. the new version of bodyslide has fixed this problem. so . . . Newest BS + Newest AMD drivers = Copacetic.
