I downloaded the Tsun mashup today, added it to game, & the boots are invisible, not a foot to stand on, so to speak.

 

Sounds like a conflict.

 

Are you running anything else that modifies the Tsun armor? Tsun armor is set as unplayable in the vanilla game. If you're already running a mod that makes it playable, just deactivate it's ESP and see if they show up. I couldn't have screenshotted them if they didn't work in game  ;)

Added it by console command, will try crafting it instead, since it might be the wrong one adding it as I did.

I like your converts and I want more! I've been trying to do some converts of my own, but I've been having issues.

but I found a little issue with the Daedric Coil Embrace you converted. It's stretching at the tail. The armor's .nif file, both in the bodyslide shapedata and outputted file from bodyslide don't show properly in NifSkope.

I like your converts and I want more! I've been trying to do some converts of my own, but I've been having issues.

but I found a little issue with the Daedric Coil Embrace you converted. It's stretching at the tail. The armor's .nif file, both in the bodyslide shapedata and outputted file from bodyslide don't show properly in NifSkope.

 

 

 

Fixed and added to post #1.

 

I used the lower weight mesh as a base so it didn't need as much adjustment. Looks much better IMHO.

 

Not sure why NifSkope can't display some of these after conversion, but they show up fine in game. I don't know if it's a NifSkope problem or a BodySlide problem. But it's odd that some armors display in NifSkope, while other don't.

for the valkyrie armor, im guessing im supposed to do something with the bodyslide files? youre instruction says put them in my bodyslide folder. im assuming is not the one it came it right? lol, the one it came in is in my data folder.

 

the armor makes my body disappear and i didnt touch anything but install it with NMM, am i supposed to put the bodyslide folder somewhere?

That was your first mistake.

 

Second, is it doesn't sound like you have BodySlide installed where it should be, in your Data folder (though I've found it really doesn't matter for the most part). The BodySlide folder that comes with the armors should be merged with your existing BodySlide folder, regardless of where it's located.

So, I'm still having issues with the feet & also noticed the hands are now invisible with the Tsun armor. I installed the files manually, ran Bodyslide, & there's no info for the gloves or boots. The body resizes properly, but I'm wondering if maybe that's my issue with it.

Actually, I checked into this myself.

 

For some reason, the ESP isn't setting the Tsun boots as playable, which it should be doing. I'll have a look over this weekend and get it sorted. I should also be able to resolve the specularity issue with the Elysium set as well.

i found the issue, the meshes werent in a Valkyrie folder inside the armor folder  so they didnt show up in game

Thank you so much. I was having a TERRIBLE time trying to get the string parts fitted to my HDT body. They'd get all crooked and overlapping and.....

Thank you so much for doing these. I can't seem to find a lot of armors with HDT body so I'm using all of YOUR stuff! I just don't seem to do well in Outfit Studio myself, even when following blabba's tutorials.

Yes, I do. As long as the range of slider options is equal to or greater than his HDT body.

 

Basicly, I'm hoping to set up my races to work with BodySlide seamlessly.

 

I already have Frost Elves tied to BodySlide, so when the user BodySlides the body shape they prefer, the meshes will go straight into the races' meshes folder. It works like this:

 

In the BodySlide ShapeData folder is Blabba's base HDT body with everything necessary for it to work. In the SliderSets folder is the slider set I generated to path the body mesh directly to the race's meshes folder. In the SliderPresets folder, is the preset of the body I shaped to release with the race. Bringing up that preset in the preview window, the user has a few options available......

 

1) modify the existing preset more to their liking, and output the new meshes

2) load their own preset under the race's body SliderSet, and output the new meshes

3) create HDT BodySlide armors for the existing body

 

I pretty basically just copied out the base body from Blabba's HDT folder, then loaded it into Outfit Studio using the HDT body as a reference, copied the bone weights, conformed all the sliders and saved it to it's own folder with the meshes created pathed directly into the Frost Elves mod. I'm working on doing the same with Amazons at the moment, as well as a few other races I'm in the midst of building/rebuilding.

 

This is all part and parcel to why I decided to remove the bodies from TCRA.

Why are so many of the most beautiful armors and clothing asymmetrical? OCD is truly a curse at times. Regardless of my own freaky and picky preferences, that is a incredibly well done conversion and addition to the armor set!

Very nice work i think i found a new daedric replacer. Def gonna be following this thread was getting tired of the paldrons on my old replacer plus it wasnt even bbp rigged.

So work has been taking a bit of time from my modding.....


I have however, been able to squeak out a few minutes


here and there to work on some stuff.


 


Currently working on this mash-up as a standalone set:

It's the BearClaw armor from Alan's BBP pack, 


the Leather Platform Boots from Bob's Boots v7,


CT77's Stormcloak Officer Gauntlets, and the


headgear from the SabreCat gear set.


 


All but the headgear are HDT BodySlide compatible,


and have thus far fit every variant body I've created for


my race mods without breaking or clipping. I should


be able to have this out by the end of the coming week.
