Update on my super-mega-fun-times, i finally fixed my Skyrim.. I think i will think over on what to install now on top of it... I have all my mods but i dont think i need ALL of them. Thanks for the responses.

ah gj gj. I have a question for people....

 

 

My skyrim quests died... The first one was getting into the carriage to go to the thalmor embassy, it just froze, I think the game was waiting for the characters to do the cut scene where my char walks into the carriage in party clothes and then it loads up at the party, but that never happened.

 

Then the greybeards broke, when I was supposed to learn the new unrelenting force shout, they just stood there, their dialogue was frozen as if they were waiting for that to play out...

 

So I'm guessing either the radial quest system thing is dodgy from someone's mod using it, and so it's not activating animation sequences... or one of the mods I've added that does animation, like maybe the directors tools or puppet master is to blame...

 

Anyone got any ideas? O_o

 

I'm kinda stuck now 'cause I can't skip through this quest properly with console commands so it's pretty irritating... At least I could skip the thalmor embassy quest : /

 

Edit: Also Delphine doesn't give me party clothes, she just stands around and nothing happens...

 

Thx for advice Seijin8, luckily I've got saves going a fair way back, so I'll give that a try :)

 

Edit: I went back to before I got to Ustengrav, now I've brought the horn back and Arngir is in his spot and it's all working fine... genuine wtf moment right there O_o I only started keeping old saves a few days ago, that was one of my first ones... *phew*

TBH: Can't be sure it was that or something else, I removed every mod that has anything that could be to do with the quest system, even using the courier guy... Not that there's many... Also disabled director tools (never used that...), puppeteer and dovakiin relaxes too. I'll just re-add them if/when i want to use them :) eZpZ!

I've had that happen. Tried to use console commands to force the quests to update, but whatever was wrong killed the whole progression of quests. I had to go back to a prior save and run from there, and then it worked fine. No idea what went wrong or why it worked the second time.

Maybe you are using a custom race w/o the needed additional files? like scripts and that customrace.esp or whatever was it called.

Errr... I think i overdid something - now i cant even start a new game in Skyrim - CTD right after loading. Crap. Reinstall did not help.. Even with no mods on.

 

try to do a complete reinstall' date=' make sure there's no files left in user folders and no registry leftovers. what did u do may help to identify what to look after

I found my issues with crashes were because of the enb setting I had running. Once I turned of ssao it has worked well. still crashes occasional but no where near as much

Can ENB make your mouse not work on "OK" and "Cancel" buttons when in race menu you try to save a char? Cause thats what i have now :D

That's a bizarre problem O_o doesn't ENB just mess with the graphic processing?

 

I'm actually using your monli char :P It got through the first time I had a cut scene with the greybeards and learnt unrelenting force 2, and whirlwind shout... so I dunno, I'd assume that that scene would've died also if it was a missing file...

That's apachii skyhair :) easy to find on skyrim.nexus

 

 

I have apachii sky hair and I don't see that hair style anywhere. To clarify, it's the one with the white stripe.

That's a remodeled ren's hair if i am not wrong. I will upload it for you if i can just find it in my mod folder..

Just wanna comment I find it funny and unsurprising nexus "what mod is this" thread only has 128 pages, while this thread has 824 pages now, with much less members than nexus and a non-official forum vs an official one. Furthermore the entire skyrimnexus forum is pretty much dead, half the threads got 0 replies lol. It's great to see people leaving that dump of a forum and coming here.

Thank you Walsod and Xenus87. Though the bikini pack doesn't seem to include the black shiny one. Is that a retexture that exists somewhere? I was specifically only looking for the black one actually. There's a similar one in the bikini pack but it's black with white flowers, looks very different.

Hey,

IDK but most of the stuff i have gotten has to be crafted, once you install the mod then check your local blacksmith crafting choices. dont think it will be listed though if you dont have the skill for that type of armor. i noticed the bat has ebony in it so might be listed under that.
