Guest Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 So, a certain picture on this website has raised my interest in the K ENB, but, as I heard a lot of people said, it is demanding. So, can anyone link me a build that can run it smoothly? Thanks in advance!
Ruskii420Sama Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 What are your specs? We can't say anything without 'em.
Guest Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 What are your specs? We can't say anything without 'em. Well, my specs are kinda bizzare, but here goes: 2 CPUs: Xeon 3.2 GHz (4 cores each) RAM: 48 GB Graphic: R9 270X OC Board: Dell S99 SSD: Kingston V300 120GB HDD: 1GB WD Velociraptor. What concerns me is my graphic card =/
pinky6225 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Graphic: R9 270X OC That's either a 2 GB or 4 GB card (installed a R9 270 4 gig in my PC about an hour ago) so you should be fine. Tho i can't actually find a link to K ENB via google to know the requirements
myuhinny Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Not sure if that ENB is still around it's gone from the nexus and from this page it says that it will not be updated and now will there be any supoort for it as Boris has made many huge improvements that future steps will be different from K ENB. http://beautifulskyrim.forumotion.co.uk/t19-beautiful-skyrim-k-enb
hryh23k9823u Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 All ENB's have the same requirements (with the same binaries), the presets only turn on or off some effects that you can turn on/off youself, ambient occluson, indirect lighting. Some crappy ENB relies on bloom instead of actual lighting work, though, so disabling that annoying (and consuming) effect will make all dark. Other important reason for people to say 'that ENB gives me best performance than this other' is cause many ENB authors, dont know why, tends to put their own enblocal.ini along with their preset, so people clueless may end with ATI without videodrivers management disabled, or nVidia viceversa, or wrong memory set up, etc. etc.
