How exactly are the mods out there male-female oriented? Sexlab Framework and all the mods I use seem to be relatively independent of gender. All the mods I have are general and work for any sexual orientation. Hell, the vast majority of the mods I use for SexLab end up being primarily homosexual (female-female) activity. Then again, the only mods I use are submit (modified), TDF aggression (modified), Sanguine's Debauchery, and matchmaker. So perhaps the problem is present in other mods.

I think what he is saying is there is no content specifically tailored for gay male PC's and as far as I know threre isn't and no one judges or cares what someone else's sexual orientation is in Lovers Lab so I don't think that is the reason he made the post.

Angrim's Apprentice is straight oriented, but not gay excluding. I think Breeder is straight oriented, but it uses a different Preg than I do so not really following it. Most mods are not explicit for any sexuality though, which I think is for the good. I would want lovers lab to be welcoming to gay and lesbian posters because I post on it, and would not want to be a part of a community that isn't. Please note none of my comments on the above mods should be considered negative about them. Pregnancy mod use is a major part of my play experience.

This seemed like a good place to ask these questions. 1. When playing as a gay-male character (as a prostitute for example) what kind of dialog do you want to see? Would your PC be the submissive type or dominant? 2. For the random Approach option should females approachers be excluded? or just made as an option? and should there be some different dialog for them when talking to a gay-male PC? 3. any other input would be helpfull I'm a straight male but I play a female PC who is submissive so maybe I'm not so straight lol. I would love to see ALL mods being functional for gay-straight-male-female-whatevs. My personal beef is great mods like Arngrim's Apprentice that excludes male players because of a required item only females can use (chastity belt)

Well in all honesty pregnancy is biologically speaking a female thing, so I am not surprised that there aren't any male pregnancy mods.

Cranky Cat Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Wouldn't a mod that lets you pick, or pre-assigns, which animations to use (or omit) for M/M (or F/F) by applying keywords be the simplest way to avoid '(no)boob jobs' or otherwise omit animations that really don't work right for gay pairings? I believe SL supports keywords already but to avoid changing the base scripts you might need to do something like force a new animation assignment if the one automatically picked doesn't have the right keyword for the gender pairing. Just my 2 cents worth. :-)

However, this is like developing the world's best rifle, then ... putting it on a shelf to be admired, or using it as part of a halloween costume. Or, having a bottle of fine aged brandy, then using it to spike a punch bowl. In other words, you can have the world's best penis, but for the gay-oriented gamers, if there's no situation where you can use it on a male organism, or where it can be used on you... it's just a tease. Thankfully, Sexlab provides the opportunity, and mods like Defeat, Submit, and SD make excellent use of that opportunity.

You would think that one or two gay men would be contributing to our perverted little website, but amazingly it doesn't happen much. Homosexuals are a small portion of the overall human population. Of them, an even smaller part play Skyrim, of them an even smaller part are modders, and of them an even smaller part are interested in making potentially adult mods. So this also incredibly tiny group would then have to this forum, which is in a tiny little corner of the great and vast Internet. It would be like an adult albino tiger getting lost in an ocean and landing on an island with a wild animal preserve suited exactly for taking care of such a rare thing. Only that sounds awesome. I would actually love to create male/male mods and male/femaleanimal ones, because I classify myself as bisexual and have been dissapointed to find so few mods like these, the only problem is I am a complete moron when it comes to modding; I can replace textures, and that's it. So perhaps there are more gay modders that would like to contribute, but just simply lack the skills.

Someone just bumped it yesterday, but today compared to back then we now have a lot more mods to suit someone's needs. I don't really recall a major female-only framework mod with marginal 3rd party male support and tons of mods that require it installed back in Feb 2014, when this thread was started, yet I can see it right here right now, already growing to the point that I can't say "meh, let's look at the next mod on the list" and move on because the dependency on it is eating up a sizable portion of the collection. Outside anything related to said framework though, I can definitely see the male support situation (gay or straight) improving over time.

(And stop M/M or Female-on-Top straight pairings from giving boobjobs) I've sort of been thinking about this one quite a bit. The challenge is, each mod is different about what it considers a valid lesbian animation. Some search for the FF tag, which returns a pretty small list, (I personally think anything that doesn't require a strap-on should be tagged FF and all anal and blowjob animations should be tagged with MM, but I digress), some will search for the Oral tag, which includes all the blowjob animations and some will search for the lesbian tag (which I think should be reserved for a select few animations, such as tribadism). What I'd like to see with the next release of the framework is a set of guidelines which makes tagging more uniform and searching by tag more reliable/intuitive for mod authors. I'd be happy to author a draft of such, I've been staring at code for a lot of these mods lately, but I don't know if anyone would take my suggestions to heart or too seriously.
