We don't even know if it's a problem installing fallout 3 or new vegas. Or if its not the game but mods... we know nothing. Enlighten us.

Halstrom Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Go into steam games library, right click on NewVegas, there should be an option to verify cache, give that a go. Just be wary it usually replace at least one file, it also might spend 4 hours downloadfing 30 damaged files too. There's also an option in there to backup the game that I highly recommend to use when you get your game & mods stable regularly or before adding any major new mods. Also make sure you are using some sort of archive invalidation like FOMM. Runn the BOSS Load Order Sort in FOMM. Post your Load Order here so others can see any obvious conflicts, some things in NV just don't play nicely together. Also try turning all the extra mods off in FOMM then do the Verify Cache thing and then start a new game and save it, this also clears a few things. There's an option in FOMM for saving a copy of your Load Order to a Notepad file.

No offense' date=' but that load order is painful. Go get BOSS. Now. FalloutNV.esm needs to load first, followed immediately by the DLC content.

Sexout.ESM has to before anyother Sexout stuff with SCR after it before other Sexout stuff. And if you do anything with GECK or FNVEdit, NEVER alter the FalloutNV file or other DLC files.

Like, say, an error message that read, "Please don't load FalloutNV.esm anywhere other than first." But how could you expect them to program that in? It is clearly beyond the capabilities of a major video game design company to deal with something as complex as an error message.

Halstrom Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 My gut feel is get rid of Armor Replacer Child fix & Bouncing Breasts and see if that helps, maybe Scope wobble too, I've been running most of the others together with no problems, I've never used those 3. You may have to do a clean save to clear the crashing before reactivating everything else as any saved games with a bad load order will probably continue to fail.
