bigglebojiggle Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 So, I wanted (of course) to have a nude character. I dont understand why some files I download show nudes in the preview, but when I use it Im clothed. UNP Top Model says I need a skeleton (I used XPMS) a texture (I used Real Girls) and then UNP top model in that order, so why does my game freeze when going into the race menu?
gvman3670 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 It "freezes"? How many brow, eye and hair addons do you have? Have you got pre-cache killer? You should also always add the skeleton last to prevent overwrites (or have it set lower in the order for over "reads" if you're using MO).
bigglebojiggle Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 I just dont understand, This Time I tried (in this order) UNP Blessed, XPMS, then Real Girls. It would look amazing if it wasnt for the neck seems and the missing detail in the crotch, did I overwrite something I shouldnt have? Do it in the wrong order?

You should also always add the skeleton last to prevent overwrites (or have it set lower in the order for over "reads" if you're using MO). Think I have three hair mods, and one (or two) brow mods. What is the pre-cache killer? If I end up getting this to work, how do I move the textures and skins to the folder for anther race that is not affected by these mods?
gvman3670 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Pre-cache killer.... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33526/? This is absolutely necessary if you've got many hair mods and the like installed. It prevents the chargen menu from freezing up while trying to load 100+ hairstyles. In your textures folder you should find a folder for the race you want to use. That's where it would go.
bigglebojiggle Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 actually, it's not just a neck seem, the whole face looks like a lower quality. How the hell did they get theirs to look like this? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36425/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D36425&pUp=1
myuhinny Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 That would probably be because they are probably using some type of ENB and other things to enhance their screenshots. But unless you have a computer that can handle ENB's all they will do is cause problems with your game like lag and stuff as many of them will suck up framerate and stuff like that. You can search for ENB in the search bar on the nexus.
FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Do bear in mind that your results will always vary depending on things such as the quality & power of your computer, the ENB you use (like a "lighting mod" which often disguises many quirks & quality issues visible in the Vanilla game), any other appearance mods you use, and in this case probably the tintmasks being used as well (ie: makeup & such). A lot of what you're seeing there may in fact depend just as much on those things as it does the actual quality of the textures - look at the pictures in the "Users" gallery to get a sense of how much this can vary (answer: A LOT). The author does not provide any information that I can see as to what his choices for appearance mods might be. You will need to make your own choices there. Always read Descriptions carefully, and if in doubt DO NOT INSTALL! For the neck seams: SVAROG'S UNP BLENDER - read the instructions CAREFULLY, make sure you use the version specifically designed for the skin you're using. Be aware that it may take more than one attempt to get it right.
bigglebojiggle Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 Its weird, Ill install UNP BB, then Real Girls body, Real Girls Face, and finally XPMS. Sometimes the game will load and the body will look great but the head looks odd. When I install UNP BB I chose no when it asks me to overwrite files for Enhanced Character Edit. UNP BB comes with its own skeletons and skin texture. Do I say yes or no when Im asked to overwrite when Im installing the 2 Real Girls textures? The body wants me to overwrite files from the UNP Blessed Body mod, and character/female/femalehead. The head just wants me to overwrite character/female/femalehead When XPMS comes up, it wants me to overwrite the skeleton from UNP BB, and character/characterassets/skeletonbeat from the ECE mod. Do I overwrite or not?

bigglebojiggle Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 Ok, the mature skin texture looks fantastic, is there anyway to move the body meshes into another races (one that the skeleton/textures arent made for) I want to use it on a ygNord
FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Yes - if you download (not install, download) the ygNord race mod MANUALLY, take a look at the file structure. Look for where that mod keeps its body meshes. Then when you do install it, you can copy+paste your chosen body meshes to that location.
