Barotrauma: Playable rat-man with genitals

A playable rat-man character with a penis and physics-affected balls.

 

This is my modification of another creator's SFW mod: Saakra's Ratmen which is available on the Steam Workshop. All credit to Saakra for making the playable ratman. 

 

 Installation instructions:

• Subscribe to Saakra's Ratmen on Steam and all other mods that mod depends on.
• Download the .zip file of this mod and unzip it so that the folder structure looks like: 

  steamapps\common\Barotrauma\LocalMods\Haki Ratman Genitals

• Set the load order to be:
  • Haki Ratman Genitals
  • Saakra's Ratmen [NHR Species]
  • Non-Human Races Base

• Create a multiplayer server (even if you only intend to play alone).
• Next to Job Preferences click on the Appearance tab, and select the right version of the ratman.

 

Changes from the original rat-man mod:

• Character now has a flaccid penis and balls. The balls are physics-affected and can be severed by violence.
• Removed white speckle from around the edge of the original sprites, and blended the original sprites together with more transparency around the hips and shoulders.
• Changed the rat-tail physics constraints so when idle it hangs in a more tense, slightly-curved shape rather than hanging straight-down like a rope.

 

For multiplayer: If everyone who plays together installs this mod before starting a multiplayer game then it should work in multiplayer.

 

As far as I know only a player can play as a modded race like this. I do not know of a way to make NPC crewmembers look like this. If you know of a way to do it, please post in this thread to let us know.

 

This does not work with clothes. If you put clothes on you will look like a human with a rat head. This is a limitation of the original Saakra mod as well. This only applies to the underclothes layer (eg. jumpsuit); you can still put on body armour, headset and hats and retain the full digitigrade anthro look.

 

This mod does not add any special functionality such as sex or animations, this is just a model replacement that adds genitals to a playable race.

 

I chose to make the penis and balls look somewhat like a real-life rat's penis and balls, which is why the balls are very large and the penis looks like that.

Very nice! I don't play the game, but I've seen it and have considered playing it, and this would definitely make me want to play it even more -w- Very nicely done here!
