Use at your own peril, there has been reports of lots of things breaking that I have absolutely no idea how, since this isn't my complete work.

I only took Fake Plastic Trees ESP and changed the looks of ED-E everything is on the work on the original author.

Anyways have fun if you want to try this out.

 

 

 

Well I was thinking about making a replacer for ED-E for myself using the popular Daughters of Ares custom race that is absolutely gorgous.

I simply took Fake Plastic Trees ED-E esp and change quite a bit.

 

Now includes several other custom races that I think are amazing as well!

Now also includes Veronica and Cass Replacers!

 

NOTICE IF YOU USE ED-E REPLACER PLEASE READ THIS

  1. I don't know why exactly but you'll have to fire her before you enter the Weather Monitoring Station at the Fort. I never had the problem so dunno. But some users are reporting this issue.
  2. Some people have been reporting firing issues, where even after she's automatically fired she'll still follow you. Please save before these points, like DLC's just to be safe.
  3. The companion quest-line ED-E My Love sometimes and probably will trigger extremely prematurely, but you can still do the quest just fine with no issues.

Changes to ED-E

  • Now uses (Insert Custom Race Here), so when you fix her up she's a nice and sexy android.
  • Removed all the items from inventory (for all three variants of Ed-E) You gotta gear her up.
  • Changed Initial class to Vault Dweller, original was prostitute....

Changes to Cass

  • Now uses (insert custom race here)
  • Removed her hat since it would cause to be bald. And no one wants that.

Changes to Veronica

  • Now uses (insert custom race here)
  • Removed her hood since it would cause her to be bald...

Requirements:

  • The Custom Race Stated
  • If using Daughters of Ares Replacer, lings is required as well.

Optional Plugins:

Notes:

She's in the Mojave Express Office AKA Nash Residence in Primm.

You'll need quite a high repair/science to fix her up.

Her appearance will vary on what type of body you have installed.

Some of these custom race replacers WILL have a neck-gap/seam unless you have a type 6 body installed.

 

Recommended Mods:

JIP Companions Command and Controlol, Gives much more versatility and controbility to ED-E.

Fake Plastic Trees ED-E Original Mod (Don't need but it's nice to see documentation for questions)

AlpenGlow ENB

NVAC - New Vegas Anti Crash (need I say more?)

T6M Equipment Replacer NV (Daughters of Ares only works with type6 armors)

Modified ED-E Sexout Options to use ED-E Replacer as new master. Sorry but it will require the Daughters of Ares.esp. I couldn't figure out how to remove it without breaking the mod. But it should be fine if you use another replacer other than DoA it will still show up as that custom race. As long as it's in your load order it's all good.

Changed her weapon systems upgrade class to SolderEnergy, to reflect them upgrading the weapon systems. So she's better with energy weapons. Go to Followers of Apocalypse for this upgrade in the quest "ED-E, My Love." Skill Tags are : Energy Weapons, Guns, Melee Weapons

Changed her Armor upgrade class to Security Officer. She'll have double the amount of HP, like in original FPT mod. Tags: Unarmed, Melee, Guns

I removed all her items before you fix her up since she was orginally wearing a prostitue outfit. Meh. Get rid of that shiz.

What are you supposed to do if you already hired ED-E in your game? Cause now I have two (the "real" ED-E and the DOA ED-E)

I'm not entirely sure what would happen. maybe you'd be able to redo the quests, I don't know.

 

Here's the exerpt from the Nexus Page.

I went into the console and did "resetquest 001572e8" which is the ed-e love quest, so I could do the quest over again for the new ed-e. Activated the esm. Repaired the new ed-e fembot. After doing her two dialog lines I immeadiatly got the BOS and Fellowship calls through ed-e and just needed to deliver her for upgrades. I also blew up my old ed-e that was still hanging around. I figured that would cut down on problems with two of them in existance. Figure I can probably use the console to resurrect the old ed-e if really needed. IMPORTANT NOTE!: WARNING! WARNING!

This mod will NOT overwrite an existing ED-E companion's models. It WILL overwrite the scripts.

 

So if you have an ongoing game with ED-E, expect that ED-E to become unresponsive. What happens if you go back to Primm and re-interact with the new humanoid ED-E?...dunno.

 

I have not playtested this with a savegame in which you have already encountered ED-E and invited them to your party. The reason is that the original ED-E is in game, unaltered. The scripts are altered to use my custom female models and I believe that it will make your current vanilla ED-E INOPERABLE.

 

As far as I can tell, it is NOT possible to convert the original ED-E (creature) to human NPC without advanced, advanced Blender/Nifskope etc. skills, which I do not possess.

 

So if you already have a game in progress, I suggest you save this mod for your next run through the game.

 

However, if you go back to where you find ED-E, you should see the new female version standing there. It MAY be possible to basically redo-the ED-E quests.

Interface is roughly the same as my Sexout Certified mod.  Right now there's no threesome option (honestly it's just a giant mess to include all things considered, and the anims aren't really that good anyway) and no pegging options (might include it later. The topics for it are in but you can't select them)

 

Plus you can order her to do it with rex (must be in the same cell as him). Figured I'd do this rather than make a sexoutrexEDE/SexoutredEdeWillow/SexoutRexTTWEDE/SexoutRexTTWEDEWillow addon.

Also, I wanted to update her with a new voice to replace ED-E beeps. I was thinking of finding a sexy female voice modulator and doing it straight from my computer without the need of a voice actor. A simple record, save, and replace job. Don't know where to start though. Something like the windows females voice, but more sexier.

Though if you're wondering how I got this out so fast, well... Basically I was in the middle of making a "More Adult Content" Sexout patch when I had the idea of making the choice dialogues first, then saving this as a stand alone template so in case I needed to add such sex choices in the future for any patches like this I can do so instantly instead of making it over and over.

I should probably release the template itself on the sexout thread. Not to mention the MAC addon. Oh well.

Basically I was in the middle of making a "More Adult Content" Sexout patch when I had the idea of making the choice dialogues first, then saving this as a stand alone template so in case I needed to add such sex choices in the future for any patches like this I can do so instantly instead of making it over and over.

 

I should probably release the template itself on the sexout thread. Not to mention the MAC addon. Oh well.

When I try to do her sometimes it ends up doing me, I think there needs to be a distinguishment for when I want to do her and when I want her to do my char. Or is there a way to swap positons in the middle of sex?

Uuuuunfortunately I have absolutely no idea how the strapon system is even supposed to work. :(    The only one I'm familiar with that even uses them is sexoutsex (where I take the example from) and that seems to use a dated version.

 

And it shouldn't be doing you. Then again I'm only testing with a male char. And no there's no way to swap positions in the middle of sex. Not with Sexout. I know in Sexlab and LoverswithPK there is.

I only had it on Cowgirl, not reverse, but I'll test it out again. To see if I can reproduce it.

wont' be necessary. I already found the problem.

Problem was Cowgirl, had the actorA and Actor B reversed.  Fixed now.

 

 

Still no dildos. At least not on the player side (I'll have to wait for the next sexoutsex version to see how chancellorkremlin does it.) However EDE should equip one if you have her fuck you (enabled those menus btw).

 

 

 

 

 

Btw, if you want to make sure people don't use the appearance changers, why not simply delete those topics? Or if you want to keep them up so you can use them later when you figure out how to fix them, add "IsXbox == 1" conditions to them?

They always result in my character instead of ED-E being done.

 

I'll try just deleting the dialogue options.

Would it be possible to make swaps for the 7 FPT bodies so people already using FPT ED-E can just overwrite the body they are using like an update?

 

I could find each FPT race/npc presets and change them to be visually identical to baseline ED-E (when you initially fix her up) so people alreayd using it will have an updated DoA ED-E. Wouldn't be that difficult. It'll probably take me like ?? 5-10 minutes.

 

However, you could not use my mod as an "update" since I renamed the esp, and that would cause some very wacky stuff if you try to use my esp to update FPT's esp. They wouldn't work out very well since the game would recognize them as two separate esp's.

 

Besides, this mod isn't meant for game play when you've already met ED-E.

So I've decided to make a little something for myself and shared as well.

Using the esp i created for ED-E to be a DoA. I created another plugin except this time will use another custom race.

This time I'm using the Lightning Race mod.

 

Thought I could bolster and widen the available looks for ED-E. Since the FPT ED-E mods was orginally supposed to be a "human-like" andriod, not a literal android/robot. I decided to make custom race human replacers as well.

 

Firstly the Lightning Race mod that is very nicely done.

I'll upload the esp and screenshots in a bit. I'll update the masters as well for the new plugin by renaming and addressing them.

Could you update the plugin so it uses my newly renamed ones?

I've tried changing it myself in FNVedit but keeps freezing my game on load.

Alright updated main file for Lightning, will upload new version of DoA version in a bit after I test it ingame.

 

Also added a Base file for anyone that wants to put their own custom race/editing without the need of the masters.

I suggest you use that one for any modding since it doesn't require any other masters other than lings.

Found a really random bug with this... 

 

With this mod enabled, the Legion can't take my guns.  It makes the NPC that takes the guns trigger the dialog over and over, it seems to cause random aggro issues in the Fort, and it traps you in the weather control station (he has to take your guns for you to leave).

 

I spent a long time tracking down which mod exactly was causing it and was very surprised when this was the one that seemed to be the culprit.

 

Hm, I never had that problem, as you posted this I did a test run of it and it didn't happen to me.

 

The esp doesn't modify any of the quests except ED-E My Love and that doesn't have any relation with the weather station guard. The only things it modifies are ED-E herself, ED-E My Love quest-line, and the initial fixing up.

 

I'll try some more tests with only ED-E Replacer.esp installed and see.
