Animations don't work properly

Hello, i have a problem, and i am pretty sure it's due to one of the mods involving sexlab, since before i installed them all was working properly.

Animations often do not work. If i save and load, they start working, but still.....it's VERY annoying. What could it be?

Not seeing anything in the FNIS that is wrong. Do you have papyrus logging working? If so next time it happens when the animation won't work. Exit the game at once and copy the log into a spoiler tag here. Perhaps there is a conflicting error causing it.

Think he will need to type dps on the console to get a papyrus log if it's a non-crash issue.

To enable go to your skyrim.ini file (usually in \Documents\My Games\Skyrim) and add in...

[Papyrus]

fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0

bEnableLogging=1

bEnableTrace=1

bLoadDebugInformation=1

Then save and load skyrim, whenever you have a CTD or type DPS on the console it will generate a log in \Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script

Personnally i used Papyrus Log Viewer by sialivi http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42815/? to view the log files but i'm told you can use notepad or notepad++ or anything really that will read a text file.

I've never actually tested it to be honest, i just remember reading when i enabled it myself that if you wanted to see what was going on and wasn't crashing you had to type dps and there is a command associated with that

Wow ok yeah you have something seriously seriously wrong with your skyrim that log is over 30mb. To put that in perspective my logs are less than 200 kb.

I finally got it to open with libra office and it is over 12,000 pages long.

I don't now exactly what is wrong there is just way to much to try and look at, but you are not going to like my suggestion at all.

I think you need to uninstall all your mods and then uninstall skyrim and I mean everything, the my games folder in your documents everything. Then do a clean fresh install of skyrim and start over on adding mods. Cause something somewhere got really screwed up.

Yeha, i figured that was not normal...there is another one that's 500+ kbs, but its still enormous...

anyway, i had to reinstall the game once, already, for this problem...so imho its pointless doing it again without identifying the problem...

Maybe someone else will be able to find the issue in the log, I don't know enough about reading them to know what the look for especially in something that big.

Just in my experience,

sanguinesDebauchery and SexLabDefeat does not work well at the same time.

When i used it at the same time, it cause the CDT in my computer.

So how about switch off the one of them and play the game??

Even if you have same problem when you switch off one of them, I don't know what is the problem;

From what I can see in the log HFFF (item 42 in the load order) is where a lot of the errors are coming from. Whatever it is try uninstalling it though you may need to start a new game to see any changes.

My people just stand one in front of the other, mouth open like something should be there. Amusing but.......maybe i just don't have the right mods. It only took me forever to get these mods working so that i could initiate sex, after all

Yep i used fanis every time...now i'll try to figure out what hff was, then turn it off....also, i already tried to turn off defeat, but nothing was solved

EDIT: hfff is hearthfires furniture fix...meh, i didnt think it could cause problems....i will uninstall it, run the game, and then post another log (hopefully smaller)

Yeah my comment about FNIS was to Mayab since s/he posted for help in your thread.

Glad you found the source of at least part of the problem. Hopefully that will help a lot, with that big of a log what could have been happening is script lag.

Well that is likely why it is crashing. The game will crash when it hits 256mb of ram being used all at once. So my guess is something is going on with your game that is making it spam stuff it shouldn't making it crash and giving you a huge log.

The question is why is it doing that though. There can only be a couple of things it could be.

1) A mod or mods that don't work correctly anymore with the current version of skyrim.

2) One more more mods conflicting with each other.

3) One or more mod was installed or uninstalled incorrectly.

4) bad install of skyrim.

I mean I really can't think of anything else that could cause it, maybe someone else will have other suggestions.

Well, i am quite convinced that the real problem is a mod conflicting. Luckily, last time i did a fresh installation, i backed up the ''data'' folder before starting modding it, so i only need to make a list of the installed mods and gradually reinstall them....i will do this in the next days, to see if i caan fix all the problems

Yeah what I always strongly suggest to people is do this.

Start with a fresh clean install of skyrim. Then install SKSE, FNIS, BOSS and SKYUI. play the game a bit make sure it all works. then start installing mods 1-3 at a time, then play for a bit making sure it works. Then log off and install 1-3 more mods.

Keep doing that until you get all the mods you want or you run into a CTD, or a papyrus log being over sized, or the log being full of errors. Once you find that then you have a good idea which of the mods is at fault. Remove them one at a time till the problem stops. Then you should know the mod you was having issues with and leave it out and go back to installing other mods. Repeating the steps as needed till you are done with all the mods you want to install.

After that if you want to use some of the mods you was having issues with, go research them and see if there is none issues, requirements you forgot or something and you might be able to get them working.

Since I did this with my own game I almost never have problems anymore.
