Loller99 Posted February 22, 2014 Author Posted February 22, 2014 I'm pretty sure though it was something related to some of the sexual mods, because some animations if those mods weren't working properly.... Now i will install first skse, fnis, cbbe, skyui, the advanced face editor, and the face makeup mods i had....then i will make a new backup of data, i think the problem is in one of the mods that add animations, probably one that is not stable as expected One more thing: is it normal that once uninstalled the game from steam library, i have to manualy remove the installation folder?

Sadly it is, some games are not great at deleting everything on a uninstall. In fact I would recommend doing a search of your HD for anything skyrim related and make sure everything is gone related to it before doing a fresh install. It is the only way to be positive everything that could be causing a problem is removed. I would also wait on cbbe, face editor and face makeup mods. I would and do seriously recommend you do them in very small groups. Do the most basics ones I listed, then next time add those three mods and keep going. You just never know what could be the issue, even mods that normally work fine on their own, can cause conflicts with a wrong combination of mods. In the end it takes a little more time doing that but in my book it is better to be safe than sorry. Installing only 1-3 mods at a time is just much safer.
Loller99 Posted February 23, 2014 Author Posted February 23, 2014 I reinstalled the game and most of the mods, with the most recent versions of everything, and up to now it seems like all's working properly (though i didnt test all the mods yet)! Yuppie! At this point, i believe that all the problem was due to some installation gone wrong
nutluck Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Either a bad installation or you installed a mod decided you didn't like it and didn't do a clean install(to be fair a lot of people don't understand what doing a clean install means it seems). Those are the two most common things from what I can tell that end up causing problems for people.
