Do new storytellers only create events and incidents related only to RDF, or they can create events from main game too? And vise versa, can classic storytellers create events and incidents related to RDF or do they have increased/decreased chances for them?Ā

all vanilla events trigger too, but the rdf one with a higher probability

Is it expected that pawns with the living rubber flesh trait can't wear living latex? For some reason it just automatically removes it.Ā

Edit: Figured it out and turns out I had added the doll body gene and was just stupid and didn't read.

is there a reason why your pawns refuse to wear clothes, they put them on to just put them into inventory?

the cuzstom bodytypes? they cant wear them.

I'm not a native English speaker, so I'm using AI to help with this message — apologies in advance if anything sounds off.

I've been really enjoying your mod — the concept is great and I think the full version is going to be something special.

I'm a RimWorld player from the Chinese community, and I was wondering if you'd be open to having the mod translated into Chinese. I'd love to do it myself and share it on Chinese platforms, with full credit to you of course. I can also post it here if you prefer.

No pressure at all — just wanted to ask and see what you think.

Either way, keep up the awesome work. Looking forward to seeing more!šŸ˜‹

you have the rubber dolls pawns right? they can wear them, you can see them wearing clothes but they choose to take them off, i have an entire caravan that just stopped by with those the rubber doll pawns all nude with the clothes in there inventory so i selected one and equipped their clothes just for them to take it off again,Ā  they can wear the clothes but only for a few seconds. they're no error codes that appear like trying to put on ratkin apparel. i use the mod sized apparel and character editor and several others. in character editor they can wear the clothes, visibly. in game as well but only for a few seconds

testing your mod for a while, good contents :P. there are some issues that i encountered: RDF dining table don't identify that room as dining room, dresser doesn't link with vacuum bed nor normal bed. And i ended up with crash too while playing, i don't know why, maybe incompatible with other mods. here is my logs and loaded mods. btw i use shiny expansion instead of latex mod.

Ā

keep up your good work, great mod 😊

I've been playing for a while now, and it seems like the skin color gene from RDF gets overwritten by the vanilla one. Of course, I've got around 800 mods installed... so I'm not sure if it's Alpha Genes or some other gene mod causing it. But maybe raising the priority of the RDF skin color gene could fix it? Looking forward to your future updates!

with a little more digging at the genes, they arent allowed to wear basic items(technically they can according to character editor)Ā  but they are allowed to spawn(ie caravans) and hoard clothes in their inventory. if i have any pawns that are your pawns i have to set them to nudist to get them to stop hoarding them.

cant tell but they may just hoard naturally with setting to nudity. tried to assign a new apparel type just for your pawns for the rdf clothing seems to fail with wearing clothes, had to banish that slave pawn because she was just hoarding heels and backpacks

InĀ RDF_Genes\Modules\Genes\Base\Defs\GeneDefs\RDF_SkinGenes.xml, all of the RDF skin color genes have 3 exclusion tags:
Ā

    <exclusionTags>
      <li>RDF_SkinColor</li>
      <li>SkinColorOverride</li>
      <li>SkinColor</li>
    </exclusionTags>

Ā

SkinColor shouldn't be there and is causing the bug - it's saying "this gene should not be used if the pawn has a skin color gene", meaning the germline skin color always takes priority. Take that line out and the genes will work. It won't immediately help in existing saves - the game saves a "this gene was overridden" tag on existing pawns, but if you use dev mode to remove the RDF color gene from an affected pawn and re-add it, the RDF skin color will show up properly.

Ā

SkinColorOverride should be there, it's used to make sure a pawn doesn't have more than one overriding skin colour.

RDF_SkinColor is redundant since all of the skin color genes also have SkinColorOverride exclusion tags, but as far as I can tell it doesn't do anything so whatever.

So how do the RDF clothing1 and 2 downloads work? Do we need to add them?

The biomes module spawns its stones, ores, and soils way too much. Is there anyway to make it so that those only spawn in their biomes instead of taking over the entire world?

I tried running this mod normally on rimworld with only the required mods but I get the same error every time which is that the mod does not exist and requires a url to load the mod causing me to be unable to get past the scenario creator. Is there anything that causes issues in terms of using mod managers? It works normally with my other mods without this one.

Mod is very nice so far!! Would be nice to add a insect and make it like the pregnator mod where it will impregnate pawns maybe something like a spider so it can use webs to ensnareĀ
