Guest witchblade Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I was debating with my friend a few hours back on who the best companion that isn't on the base game was. He said Alicia Painslut. I not-so respectfully disagreed and claimed that Selene Kate was far more good looking and useful. That conversation got me wondering what the community's favorite Mod companion was. So please leave your opinions!
Guest Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Cerwiden. You could argue about her voice being annoying but she's one of the best healers/casters out there. Selene is also pretty useful though. I generally don't care about the "pretty face" followers because I customize my followers' looks anyway so I take the ones with useful mechanics or good voice acting.

She fits into the lore well, is a true duel wielder, participates in the dragon attack, patrols Whiterun, dines at the the Inn, sleeps in the barracks. The next version is supposed to get custom voicing and more quest options.

As for magic, i just love BTRH's Nei, that girl annoys the shit out of everyone with her atronachs. Even though i'm more into undead stuff, my favourite follower of all time is M'rissi. That cuteness made even me melt.

But other than that, I'd say Hoth because he has an interesting personality and, unlike 2 certain very popular companions, he doesn't ask me for clam chowder or sweetrolls to make him like me more.

Arthenon Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Miria from Unique Female Followers has been a long time favorite of mine. She can group heal. Miria follows you all the time, even when you don't ask her to. She was set up that way. Elorwen is another favorite also from UFF, she's a frost Elf from Tryks' old Frost Elves mod. There's a picture of both Elorwen and Miria together (tenth pic). Go to NMM and checkout Unique Female Followers mod.

Yeah that clam chowder thing is the only issue I have with her and I don't even know how many I have to give her.

On top of that, you can also dance or dance with her together, with over 40 dance tracks to choose from! One good way to pass the time in game when you are getting bored of doing quests and killing stuffs(speaking of dance, wish the dance could attract a crowd of audience when you do it in public, could be even better if they tip you in a jar or something). The only thing that lacks is custom voice and some personal quests, but the latter is already being worked on by the author.

It's just a shame she doesn't have a custom voice - I'm hearing FemaleYoungEager all around me! I also like SR Elf Followers - they're all lovely. <3 I'm sensing an elf-theme in my game here...
