Definitely Arissa. I've never had a follower for as many hours and adventures, since Sydney Follower from Fallout 3.

I really don't want my followers to be any good, wish ultimate follower overhaul had some automated way of making them even less powerful.

 

If they were really bad I could have many of them around and still feel at least some challenge. Other challenge than getting through doorways, that is.

My favorites in order and why:

 

#1 = Inigo the Brave

#2 = Arissa

#3 = Vilja

#4 = Aurora & Twilight

 

I enjoy custom voiced companions. Inigo is very funny, usually has something to say about a given situation, is good with stealth, and he brings life back into my play-through's. Arissa, because she is new, and I like her lines even if they seem like the voice actress didn't really try (seems over done). Vilja, because she was the first fully voiced custom follower I used and I enjoyed her story and her song about Lydia. Aurora & Twilight because I like the voice, and the back-story.
