Compatibility Patch for Fury - Animal Taming of Skyrim & More Nasty Critters

View File

Strugling finding a compatibility patch for fury and mnc i decided to make it myself.

You can now play as the slutty druid you ever wanted to play.

The patch consist in varius thing`s like changing the skeleton to match with the one`s provided by the mod  BakaFactory Animated Beast Cocks

tweaked the size of the tamed creatures (i wanted to change by 2 point the inital level, instead of starting with 6 start with 8 but i dont know how to do it)

added sadle bones to the montable beast so you can mount in more than one way.

feel free to change anything you want.

It`s my first time doing something like this so expect some bugs and stuff.

Nice! So far I was using a patch by @AegisReaper

do you think its safe to disable it and enable your patch? And is there an advantage over this patch?

I didnt know there was another patch so i dont know, my patch add a .json adding every relevant tame to be recognized by creatureframework, also tweaked the size of every tame substracting 2 point each, changed the probability to always be male after the tame process, tweaked level up a littl the life 7 point, attack 3 point, hunger & carry waigth by 10 and the rest is in the description. So you have to try wich one is more of your taste or if they are redundant betwen them, also thanks for trying my patch

That's what happened to me on a new save, for what i read the fury script get overwrited if there are to many heavy scripted mods, try to disable before a new game and enable again after all other script are loaded in the save

probably ppa isn`t working for you all, go to the toml in skse/plugins/ppa-override-config and change Fury - animal taming of skyrim.esp to .esl it should fix it.

Hi trying your mod out now. Curious if there is a detailed explanation of the added stuff besides what you wrote here? a README? Thanks! Also just downloaded your latest fix

More than the compatibility with fury, mnc and ppa , the other's thing are 7 points to life instead of 3, hunger & wheigth are 10 now, attack is 3 and the change to the size of every tame (-2).

i see it more than a template, this way you dont have to edit the original mod.

The dialogues dont seem to come up even if I have the perk. Are there any known incompatibilities?

Same thing here, with the ordinator patch. After dissecting scripts and perk data i've come to the conclusion that the perk's "on activation" entry doesn't fire for some reason, so that the messagebox to confirm taming doesn't come up. Might have to do with mods that give animals their own dialog choices. vanilla skyrim has no dialog on animals, maybe the dialog activation causes the perk activation to be skipped? i don't know.

Maybe add a dialog choice that comes up when the perk is present, in case the original activation method doesn't work?

Sorry for the late replay, it's because the original mod load as an esl so other mods script override it, the problem is you can't move the esl of fury unles you convert to a esp (change the .esl to .esp and extract the folder with the script from the bsa, use bsabrowser to extract, delete everything exept the new .esp and put the scritp folder in the original mod) but this patch and the ordinator patch aren't going to work. It's what i did also recreated my patch and the ordinator patch, so far it's working but i have to use resaver once in a while because it broke osl aroused. I can upload the esp version of my patch if you want it.

Maybe im just dumb - but for some reason the mod just wont work. The taming dialogue does not appear with hostile or passive creatures. I installed the new .json file and the espified version.

Eeh, you have the nescesary perks? Also what version of the patch you downloaded? The new one require fury to be converted to a esp version.

Ok, so you converted the original mod? If you did, make sure the esp is below in the pluggins tab, my patch below the esp and the ordinator patch provided by this patch below the ordinator esp and delete the original ordinator patch
