maid HL_Maids — Maid Career [18+]

I've been using this  Mod for about a week now and most everything works well except for one thing."The dedicated "Maid" interaction menu" doesn't show up on my Sim, so I can't interact with the owner. So, even though the bar is all the way up and is green, I don't advance in the career.

 

By the way, I had a pregnant Sim going to the hospital under the pregnancy mod {Pandasama_ChildBirth_mod_v1.965} But because they're is no way to take a day off I was afraid one or the other Mod wouldn't work.However when the Sim got to the hospital the Career window said she was on a medical leave. A little short though. It ended when she returned back home with the baby instead of lasting a few days. but still, good.

just tried this but failed, there was nothing to clean but it wanted me to clean toilet, sink and shower, none of them were dirty and they had a bath not a shower so couldnt do anything at all

you can simply use the command sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas  this will let you select any maid outfit you have and you can change into work outfit when ever you like

Has a lot of potential. Sometimes the maid interactions dont work, the owner doesnt do anything (or there are 2. of them and the other one just walks off the lot after a while) and I cant get the promotion tasks complete no matter how much I spam the maid actions (our romance bar is maxed out now)

Hi Lacter   .  The home i was sent to that needed cleaning was owned by a Horse! . 😐 I think it was a ranch house. So naturally i am not able to flirt or sex up the house owner. Will i be sent to other homes as well on other shifts, or is that now the only home and owner i will be working for? Feels a bit silly that the owner of the house i got to work at was owned by an animal. Can you advise please?

Just before my Sim has to leave, she suddenly doesn't have a job anymore. Her maid job is gone. 

She is suddenly unemployed again.

I have an issue where the task "charm the owner until a spark...". Could not achieve this eventhough through the Maid menu, the romance was at 80%.

There is a minor issue with this mod: if you use TURBODRIVER's "Unlimited Jobs Plus" (and thus have a dual career), the mod transports you to a house that needs cleaning for both careers.

The mod isn't working properly. When I use it in English (without the translation file), I select the maid job, but nothing happens; my Sim doesn't go to work or anything like that. When I use it with the Spanish translation file, there are some bugs, but the main issue is that the cleaning "event" never ends, so I can't go home or do anything else. I select the option to end the event, but there's no response. Also, it doesn't show that I'm working as a maid in the profession section.

Hi awesome modder!

I can't seem to have my sim successfully interact with the homeowner. Actions such as (off the top of my head, it won't be 100% word for word) 'Remind the boss why I'm the favourite' or something with a mood buff it immediately cancels and won't interact. I'm also not getting any WW scenes. I go, clean, and go home professionally lol.

The mod works great so far, it's exactly the sort of thing I was looking for, though it's buggy at times. The first day my sim had to work, the goals tab didn't pop up, and the work day never offically ended, so she didn't get paid for her efforts. Also the one sex scene that was presumably supposed to trigger, didn't trigger, for some reason. On her second day as a maid, the clients left the building, but two of the other sims that lived there started doin' it, and my sim walked in on them, and the goals card actually fired correctly, so she got paid at the end of the day.

 

I hope this mod doesn't get abandoned, it has potential.

It seems like this mod needs age checks for home owner sims or something, I just got sent to a house and it showed a child as the owner. Maybe limit it to young adult through elder? I also noticed that after the first career goal had been achieved and reset, the job tasks box didn't show up in the corner again.

The mod will have ongoing support, and an additional pornstar career mod (not Rabbit Hole) is coming, following the same guidelines as this mod. Age filtering will arrive soon.

I get that the mod wants you to flirt with the client through the "maid" option, but that never seems to lead anywhere. I was able to finish the first work goal, which was to "flirt with a client" but the second "flirt with a client until they notice you" never triggers. I'm starting to think that using the custom "maid" option in the conversation menu is too buggy, and flirtation and other forms of communication should happen through the "romance" tab, that or the goals involving romance should change so that control of achieving them is switched to the player based on the actions they do, instead of hoping a sim randomly decides to do the thing you want them to, toards the player.

 

I'm not even sure what "notices you" means anyway. Until they flirt with the PC? Until they offer sex? Until they try to talk to the player character? What does that mean?

 

EDIT: So it just occured to me that I have an old mod installed called "Better Romance" and I'm wondering if that might be interfearing with things. I guess I could try removing that mod to see if anything changes.

Hello ,I’m stuck at the same level in my current promotion. I was wondering if, since you did those tests, you’ve managed to find a way to move on to the next stage? If so, what did you do to unlock the next promotion? For my part, I went to the trouble of maxing out a landlord’s affection, but it didn’t make any difference to the validation. So I’m trying to gather the information I need to keep making progress. Thanks in advance.
