I haven't been able to make any progress yet either. I think this part of the mod is not working correctly for some reason, that's why I requested that the mod author change the way the goals work, and have them run through actions done in the existing romance (or casual romance, if you use WW) tree.

 

EDIT: I looked at the code of the mod a bit, and if I understand things correctly, they are supposed to "notice you" once the relationship and romance bars are completly full. But that doesn't seem to happen. I gave my sim the "casual romantic" trait in WW, so I thought maybe that had something to do with it, but maybe not. Casual romantic seems to keep track of romance through some hidden method, though that's only an assumption based on hearts that show an increase or decrease in romance after choosing flirtatious dialog options, so even with that trait selected, it still seems to keep track of romance. So far, I have found that this mod is a good way to meet new sims, or in other words, make fuck buddies, but that doesn't progress the career tree in any way. I think it would be nice if the mod kept track of sims you cleaned for and charmed, and if they showed up at your sim's house on your day off, or after work, you could "do the deed" with them and then they would pay you afterwords, and that would also count towards career goals, or something like that, or the goals could be changed in the mod, like if the home owner won't approach you, you can aproach the home owner. There are different things that could be done. By the way, looking at the code of the mod, it doesn't seem to matter if you use the maid social options, or not, to raise the romance level, so maybe you can use standard options, and then use the maid options once the relationship bars are maxed out?... I just don't know for sure though.

So, I got impatient, and I used another mod called UICheats and just left clicked that job goal, which auto completed it, not the way I WANTED that to happen but, it is what it is, and at the end of the day, the text that came up said "you left the house spotless and the home owner speechless", so what I'm gathering from that is that not only do you have to have the romance and social bars maxed, but you also have to have cleaned everything in the house.

 

I get the impression that what this mod is TRYING to do is build a romance between the maid and home owner over time, and that will eventually lead to sex stuff. I get this impression because of the way there seems to be a "building" aspect behind the relationship parts of the job goals, and the fact that in one instance, when I had just started testing the mod, a homeowner had approached my sim for sex but "something" prevented the ecene from playing, which I can only assume was the mod. It's difficult to tell since there aren't a lot of hints.

I see. Thanks for sharing what you’ve been doing. I reckon the mod’s developer will eventually give us the long awaited solution. As for me, I’ve simply decided to move on until we have the solution or the fix, if it really is just a minor glitch that needs sorting out. Enjoy the game, and thanks again – kiss

I have a problem with the mod I am trying to choose a household but i get a question mark. When my sims goes to work she goes to a random household

i have the problem that when my sim tries to use any other action than 'smile while clean' or 'stare longer ...', my sim simply doesn't do it. the action just never hits the column. is that a bug or am i doing something wrong?

Hello everyone, most of the reported bugs were fixed in the latest version. Random houses should no longer be an issue, and the romance required for promotions is now increased through native game interactions.

I'm having issues with the career disappearing from my Sims career panel whenever I leave my home lot with a different sim. I lose any progress made as well if I have them re join the career. I don't know if this is a issue with the mod or if something else is causing it. Any advice would be welcome x

I have a small issue: at trusted maid level, I can see the Charm the Homeowner - Checked (it's golden) when I entered a new house where I have not seen the homeowner before. As I raise the romance bar to over 50%, it did not trigger promotion to next job level, even after several work days. Perhaps the promotion is tied to WW and not the base game.

Have you tried using the Maid > setting > select home option (its able to select the houses that you want, based on household name)

I was thinking, it would be nice if you could dress up a character in a maid outfit in CAS, and then set it to serve as the default uniform through a menu option by clicking on that character in game and choosing the desired outfit by selecting it out of a visual list, the same way you select an outfit for your sim to change into. I'm not sure how complicated that would be though.

Same i was wondering if maybe I'm missing something? They just cancel the action and ever do it

I'm trying to get the maid to work at a custom household i made, but it doesn't show up on the Client Home Settings?

Is there a way to make them show up in anyway?

Yep, but none of my 5 or so custom made households show up. I assume this is to avoid some janky interactions if i were to swap played household during the maid service or simply the creator has not fully developed this relatively new mod yet oooor I've simply missed something basic
