Lovely Rose Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 So i been thinking of getting Borderlands 2 GOTY, Its STILL 60$$!!!! GAH really want to play their DLC's and what not, but growing tired of waiting of the price to drop!! i know before new years it was down to 30$ but i actually couldn't buy it at the time!! -.- So people who BOUGHT AND PLAYED THE DLCs are they worth it? or should i wait for price to drop?

mer_frye Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I didn't like most of the dlc, but Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep was amazing. I think you would definitely be missing something if you didn't get that one. I'd also recommend the Mechromancer Pack, but that's more of a personal preference.Overall, I would suggest waiting for the GOTY to be at least 50% off--I've once even seen it for 75% off--, but otherwise I'd just get the above.

For me only sir hammerlock big game was the weakest DLC. - Scarlet and her booty - it was a nice expansion, really big and fun with unique enviroiments - Torgue campaign of carnage - if you like this kind of humour and arena fights then yes - assault on the dragon keep - was amazing , best dlc so far - mechromancer - interesting design but her robo-summon falls off pretty quickly - krieg - if you go full melee its the most boring character ever made and almost unkillable if you know what to do
TheoryoftheDead Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Agree for the most part with what's been said by the previous people - The only *really* worthwhile DLC would be Dragon Keep, the others were rather dull. If I didn't already own the game, I'd probably wait for a sale. 60 bangers is a lot of cash.

Spectre_15 Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Borderlands has the most personality of any current gen FPS game, IMO. The story is fun, the weapons are crazy, and the antagonist is just fucking awesome. Villain of the year, second MAYBE to Vaas from Far Cry 3.

Heck, a few games cost that much even after many months/years! Sure not all dlc are top notch, but hey, each to their own.

Only manipulating saves with the save editor, and some TexMod texture replacers. Nothing even closely comparable what is available for Bethesda's games. If you have already played it, i'll say wait for it to go on sale on Steam, you can get the game and DLCs very cheaply from one. Edit: Speaking of, it's free to play for the weekend, and on sale at Steam right now.

Side-note, how about a LL BL2 gaming community..something? ... Y'know, i'd love to play this with other uhm.. maniacs?
