New:  A new situational vulnerability setting, "Devious Followers low will".  Having low willpower makes you just as vulnerable as wearing restraints.  The global variable _DLowWill in Devious Followers defines the threshold (it defaults to 3).

 

New:  A new situational vulnerability setting, "SLUTS Livery".  Bright pony girl body painting ("livery") makes you an obvious target, increasing your vulnerability when it's visible (when you're naked).  Works with both SLUTS Redux and SLUTS Resume.

 

 

Regarding the _DLowWill global variable, understand that this is Devious Followers' variable.  Deviously Helpless just reads the value.  If you change _DLowWill from the console, you will affect Devious Followers when it checks this threshold for low will.

Meaning greater vulnerability as the Willpower stat decreases.

The new update adds DF low willpower vulnerability, but not in as flexible a manner as you described.  For consistency with all the other vulnerabilities, and to keep the MCM settings simple and consistent, it's a binary condition: you have the vulnerability or you don't.

 

Although it's not as flexible, this approach does give players a strong incentive to keep willpower above 3.  Perhaps that's the point where your mental state changes to passively accepting what's done to you, which affects the way you carry yourself.  Bandits notice that and see weakness.

 

This mod does read the value of DF's _DLowWill global variable and use that as the threshold, so if it changes in DF, Deviously Helpless will use the changed value.  However, I don't believe that DF lets you reconfigure that variable, other than manually setting it via the console.  If you decide to experiment with changing that variable, keep in mind that DF also uses _DMedWill for its medium will threshold, so obviously the low value should stay lower than the medium value, and changing these will affect how DF decides that you're subject to low or medium will conditions.

Deviously Helpless Extended (this mod) is the LE replacement for the original Deviously Helpless.  It works fine on SE too, but if you're on SE, you'll probably want Deviously Helpless Redux.

 

Deviously Helpless Redux is the SE-specific replacement for the original Deviously Helpless.

 

Only install Deviously Helpless Extended or Deviously Helpless Redux.  Neither of these newer versions require the original mod.  Do not install both Extended and Redux.

- If you use a mod that reorders the list of mods in the MCM, recently-added mods might appear at the bottom.

- Save and reload your game.

- Reinstall the mod.  That sometimes works for people.

You could try with a new game with a reduced set of mods.  Leave out ones that you don't really need.  If that works, you can add them back in gradually.

So far, I can add a little bit to this. I never used other versions of Deviously Helpless but I was having the same issue of no MCM appearing. I tried a couple things that I knew, each is in your list. Then I saw your list and tried all of them. Thank you very much by the way for always providing info like this. It really does help us idiots who are just stumbling around. Anyhow, I still had no mcm. It wasn't until I started a brand new character game that the mcm appeared. The only change to my modlist was deleting SL Adventures, Old Hroldan Farm, and SlaveGirls. Otherwise it was the exact same set up. No idea why I needed a brand new game to get it to work, as I said, I wasn't updating from any previous version or anything. But that's what finally worked for me. Just thought you should know.

Does this mod support animal and monster/non-human creature attackers, or only human attackers? Will animals and monsters still attack the player when "vulnerable", or will they just ignore the player? 

 

Will Calmed enemies still take advantage of a "vulnerable" player, or will only aggressive enemies do so?

 

If there's no support for non-human attackers, are there plans on adding support for it?

do you know what mod could cause conflict with helpless ? after turning on more mods helpless vannished from mcm menu >.<

I can't seem to get this to work. The MCM loads, I've configured it, I've gotten into some devices, this mod seems to recognize that I'm wearing them (when I check the vulnerability page in the MCM it correctly displays that I'm over the threshold I set), but when I approach an enemy, they just attack me. Tested with the bandit outside Embershard Mine and waltzing into Halted Stream Camp. 

 

I'm not sure what "debug information" is useful to diagnose this, but I'll throw in my load order atleast.
