FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE [Req Mod]

ive added the links from the git hub and when i try to launch the python it exits right away before i can read it for why it failed. when i went through the steps on the other explination, the first 3 links wont open and the fourth is an empty folder. im putting them all in the fdata foulder.

you only need the "yumia_mod_insert_into_rdb" and the mods, i think the other ones is to extract the models and textures or something?

 

Just make sure you have this file, the mods, don't have the censorship mod when your using any nude ones, and make sure the LOD is set to Max and it should work.

Unpack this broken mod with yumia, and you will see.I just change some file names.

btw Blaze, did ynxks123's nude character swap mod on the page 14 work for you properly? I tried that, but Mio's model still couldn't display the face correctly, though the hair is visible.

heres my current folder and the python page when i try to run the yumia folder opens and closes within a second. and when i open my save and go to a fire to change, its still not there for me.

the one on Page 14 is the one am using and it works, while most of my settings are pretty low (as have shit PC), everything seems to work, yeah some clipping but here and there but as far as am aware, the modder isn't going to update it anymore.

did you use the Yumia file? if yes did you use it before or after you put the mods into the folder, you need to use it after as it uses the mod file to create another root file, this is so the game will load the mod file instead of the original (or something like that) after that, just run the game and use the outfit the mod changes.

 

Side note, if you have more then one mod, even if its named differently, it will not work as it will conflict with each other and look really weird or break altogether, try to use only one of them, so far you have three choices, at least on this forum (the two nudes and the "uncensored"), only use one of them at the time as they all use the default outfit, also make sure the outfit is used in cutscenes too or it will disable when a cutscene plays. the ghost mod can go with any of them, as far as am aware.

ok i cant say honestly on that part. i when finding downloaded the python and tried to move all th4e yumia folders over. i cant see if python runs a full load and react with it because it closes out in half a second. ive tried to un install and reinstall the game to try to reset the folders but that did not work as i hoped in trying to do it all from the start.

Thx! If the "Character swap.rar" file (not the "normal_default_outfit_nude_V2.rar") worked for you, then the issue might be only on my end.

am not sure what the tool does and it disapears too quickly for me so cant help understand what this all means sorry.

did you exstract everything from that .rar into the folder? lol

 

could try downloading the first version then the V2, when you do, use the yumia file, this will, basically do the thing the image above is doing, and give you a root file, this is basically a file telling the game what files to use... least thats the way i see it, also if you have an old root file, this might be written wrong so either rename the backup so its the main root again or verify the files before using the Yumia file agian. adjust setting as this can change if the mods work or not for some reason, IF it still doesn't work, might be other issues, is the game in a HDD or SSD drive, are you using win 10 or 11, what GPU are you using etc, one of these might be the issue... am not a tech person and am using an old GPU so cant really help if there is issues like this...

yumia file just makes a root file, as far as am aware, it doesn't actually try putting the files into the game, it just directs it. am not sure whay for some, it doesn't work... set everything off and LOD to standard, textures and shadow to max, see if that works? am needing to do away things so when i come back, will check my game settings and see what happens if you copy them?? its strange it doesn't work, also what mod you trying to actually use?

Thanks, I see. It seems the problem is on my end, though I'm not sure exactly what's causing it.

Anyway, ynxks123's mio/mayu swap mod didn't work for me properly in 1.04.00. The face of Mio's model is still missing.

Well, did you test ynxks123's swap mod? If you didn't, perhaps you could give it a try and see if it runs properly on your PC.

you have other mods active? f you do, try without the swap mod, then try the swap mod without the mods.

try a mod without the swap mod, remember to revert everything back or verify, if it loads the mod it might be the swap mod tool not allowing certain swaps, being bugged or even outdated for the game version?

Yeah I know, the normal nude mod worked perfectly. Only Mio's model has the issue where the face doesn't display, after swapping. I tried replacing Mayu with Sae, and everything worked fine.

Normal nude mod - 100% working, without any problems.

My or ynxks123's Mio/Mayu swap mod - Mio's face model isn't displaying.
