I couldn’t find a way to auto-organize Sims 4 mods, so I wrote scripts to do it...

I made a small set of scripts to help organize my mods folder and thought I’d share in case it’s useful to anyone else.

It’s nothing fancy - just some simple tools to:
• clean up filenames
• organize folders
• detect duplicates
• make large mod libraries easier to manage

I know there are already really good tools like Sims 4 Mod Manager and Sims 4 Studio, but I couldn’t find an option in them to automatically organize everything (maybe I just missed it). So I ended up making a few scripts for myself.

Repo: https://github.com/mf-rl/mod_management_tools

Some parts were written with AI assistance (Codex), but everything was tested and adjusted manually.

Feel free to use, modify, or suggest improvements.

A user made this tool about 7 years ago that I use every time I do a CC audit. I use it in conjunction with Bulk Rename Utility, and a script I'm working on that assigns a numerical value to a CC folder with scalability for adjusting the index value of a piece of CC. If I could find a way to assign the index value to the packages in the folder via S4TK or some other means, I'd be golden.

Thanks for the repo, I'll check out your files and see how they fit in my workflow.
