Imhotehp Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I've been dabbling with modding for about six months on Skyrim now, and for better or worse it's been a pretty rewarding experience. It should also be said that there are some on this site that have been a big help (whether they realize it or not). Kudos to all that have either directly or indirectly assisted me in my modding experience. I just wanted to share a discovery I made on the Nexus today....it's called SSME, and it has made a world of difference in my skyrim stability. Like many, I've been struggling with ctd and general issues, and no amount of tweaking or switching load orders seemed to do much. I run about 130+ mods on my Skyrim, and I try to keep it in that neighborhood, but I generally (at best) only get about a half hour of playtime before the ctd dragon rears it's head and roasts my enjoyment....but tonight....I installed SSME and...it's like a switch has been thrown. I've had hours of smooth crash free play. Obviously I can't guarantee that you'll get the same mileage as I have so far, but I thought I'd share for those who may not frequent the Nexus as much as I do. I'll keep you updated if anything changes with it. I do highly recommend this mod!

...0... Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Ive used it also i dunno if you have highend pc make difference but it broke more then it helped. I must say i always have couple of hours play only have CTD from time to time after 3 4 hours play so no real problem i got long loadings. So i tried it and it broke my sound some textures and i CTD after 15min installed safetyload again and all is ok very strange? Only got rather long laoding times but i can live with that. What i wanne say is it won't work for everybody, just try it and see what happen. Maybe better for lower end machines? I got only MS security essentials no virus scanner installed. I have no plan, with this manual I can not do anything because I simply do not understand! too many abbreviations with which the translator can not do anything! Maybe I need this mod also not at all, maybe good, but maybe useless, I do not know!I have in my game 256 ESP \ ESM and it is 59 GB in size, it runs and runs without any problems! german was macht eigentlich diese mod ? ich habe keinen plan , mit dieser anleitung kann ich nichts anfangen , weil ich sie ganz einfach nicht verstehe ! zu viele abkürzungen mit dem der übersetzer nichts anfangen kann ! vieleicht brauche ich diese mod auch garnicht , vieleicht gut , vieleicht aber auch nutzlos , ich weiß es nicht ! ich habe in meinem spiel 256 ESP\ESM und es ist 59 GB groß es läuft und läuft problemlos!
