The exact name is SunHelmSurvival.esp
I don't know if it's important or not but Sunhelm uses vanilla survival mode features and improves upon them. "Sleep to level up" is one of those vanilla features. But you should only have either of them enabled, Sunhelm or Skyrim's native Survival Mode. So in theory vanilla survival mode would also conflict with Oneirosis' sleep cutscenes. Would be great if someone could confirm if this is the case.

Yup, if you play in Skyrim's Survival Mode, Oneirosis does not allow you to level up after sleeping. I solved this problem by turning off the Survival Mode, when I need to level up, and turning it on after. However, I've heard that Skyrim can prevent you from re-enabling Survival Mode if you have SkyUI installed. I'm using SkyUI Difficulty Persistence Fix and re-enabling seems to work properly

Hi! I'm having a problem. This mod has been working fine so far, but now when I try to go to sleep, it loads the next morning with a black screen and no message box. I can hear my followers and anyone else who was in the room talking, so the game is still going just fine, but I can't move or see. I checked sseedit and it only has a couple conflicts with CACO changing how alteration/illusion potions work, nothing that should affect the dreams.

ALSO I forgot to mention I used the debug spell, when I use it and click quicktest my character glows red for a second but nothing else happens.

Apparently the cutscene pack is not optional

What is the cutscene pack? The downloads has Main, loadscreens, main menu replacer, the patch for sexual daedra, and then something labelled 1JETGSZT that isn't mentioned in the install instructions, is that the pack?

so an issue i've found is I am unable to go into the level up screen from sleeping in survival mode. because the mod kicks me out of it each time I wake up/

Just installed and am encountering an issue with the cutscenes, where the image is too far up the screen. I.e. the top is cut off and there is just a black section at the bottom.
I presume it might be because I am playing on a widescreen 21:9 monitor, anyone else encountered and know if there is a way to fix this?

Additionally, is there supposed to be an MCM for this mod. Do not have one in my list and do not see it mentioned on the mod page, so figure I might as well ask

That 1JETGSZT is the cutscene pack. Its too big for LL, so that links to external download

Interesting mod, It adds just that little bit more depth to the game and I hope you continue to expand it. Two things:

1. The urge for reading books makes me not want to read anything until it pops up. Skyrim only has a few hundred books. I use mods that add a lot more, and make them easier to get at general traders, but it can still be hard to find three unread books late in the game. I suggest reducing that urge to one book at a time, and including a safety catch like you have for locations.

2. I started having occasional lucid dreams and got hypnagogia pretty early, without raising my alteration level or trying to buff it. It might be a good idea to have a floor for this so it never happens before alteration level 30 or so.

Is this mod compatible with other mods that add messages after sleep (Bimbos of Skyrim, Devious Devices)?

DD yes, dunno about the rest

Hello!
I really liked the mod—it’s a bit hard to figure out, but it’s original! The problem is, I’d like to play with a mod that’s incompatible (since it also affects player death). But when I try to uninstall Oneirosis, the game won’t load my save file and keeps asking me to reinstall the mod.
I know it’s not the only mod that does this, but do you know how to uninstall the mod while keeping my current save file?

This is a half-finished thought, but like... as a gameplay mechanic, dreamsleeve hypnagogia and succubus stuff is like, competing with vampirism, nightingale and stuff, right? and like. I think a lot of us are running overhauls for basically everything, so mechanically, Oneirosis is kind of in an odd place. It has the deepest theme and ideas of all, I absolutely adore what you've done with it, but it has a "vanilla versions" balance point. Like, I'm choosing between "the entire thieves guild ability set" even in vanilla, and when I add Sacrosanct, the competition is "302 different abilities that make you super strong"... but I want to use this most of all.

I kinda am playing a very specific version of Skyrim where everything is scary (Requiem-style) but player characters can become very powerful to contend with these enemies, so it's a meaningful sacrifice to give up tons of resists and powerful spells and combat options and Vampire Lord transformation. Immortality doesn't cut it when you're posting this on the Practical Defeat site hahah.

Is it worth considering like, expanding upon what you can do, gain, and lose? The Dreamsleeve is the key to so much in the setting (they fly spaceships through this thing hahah) that there are a lot of potential possibilities.

If not, is it possible to build it in such a way that one could "hook" an overhaul into it, adding new abilities and stuff, for when one is running at a higher power level? Would you consider posting the information a mod author would need to do that?

I explicitly wanted a system that worked as an alternative to vampirism/werewolf/nightingale, as they are so limited for roleplay variety purposes but they are such an obvious mechanical improvement that not using them means deliberately handicapping yourself which feels bad. By making them mutually exclusive it provides player choice and better replayability. It was balanced conceptually around permadeath: eg. vampirism makes you more relatively more likely to win a fight but there is no room for error, where hypnagogia makes you relatively less likely to win but you have a huge safety net and as you die repeatedly your strength goes up. This solved the huge immersion issues of dying (which almost always makes me give up on characters completely) and enabled extra depth for things like defeat (ie. turn off defeat on knockdown, so it becomes a choice of willing surrender when your health is low vs taking the ego hit and having to redo the whole day's events) and allows things like losing your characters virginity and then "resetting" (once you die enough times to unlock the suicide power) so it "doesn't count".

For updates and expansion, I do have ideas (like memospore transmission to allow communication with a questgiver from anywhere, or remaking the omen sleep-rape concept from deviously accessible) but I am pretty burned out, making even the simple cutscenes is agony and I have other things in my queue.

If you want to hook into it, DM me EXACTLY what you want the interactions etc. to be and I can talk you through what you need to do to tie in and/or look into adding sendmodevent etc. hooks in the necessary places

I'm having an issue with the dreamlucidhornymajor cutscenes, they don't seem to be loading for me. All of the other cutscenes work, including the devious version of the same setup, but for dreamlucidhornymajor nothing plays, just a delayed black screen that you have to briefly open the console to end before waking up with the lucid dream message (the same way as if the cutscene pack was not installed).

As a separate question, I noticed there are a lot of variations on the siphon cutscenes; notably ones with "bothcum" and ones without the "pitiful" tag. How are those triggered?

Fixed

The variants are for the different possible combinations of target/player SLA arousal level, teasing/draining and whether you have "overfed" on that npc

Slow start here, tried this with a level 20+ character, 40+ in illusion, 60+ in alteration, I decided to see what happens, the 1st nights nothing much, just a message box when waking up to tell me the night was good, but nothing special. Finally I have a minor hypnagogia which makes me 25% more vulnerable to magic and makes my spells 10% more effective. But I have to way to investigate what happens, the only quest started is "urges and actualisation", and it tells "satisfied for now". It's a little frustrating. Should I try to go to Dawnstar and try to do the Vaermina quest ?

I also have in the status screen ego balance : strong ego, whatever it means...

Ok, I just had what you call a "lucid dream" here, nice trick, and you didn't tell that in the main page, so the surprise is total. It has nothing to do with what lucid dreams are in our reality, for us it's just take control of our dreams. But it sure looks interesting, I'll get back to it later.

Can't seem to ever fullfill my current urge of "grand or thankless task" after paying any beggar I came across is there a way to reset the quest?

I temporarily set high timescale for about 5 seconds behind a black screen when oneirosiphoning or astral projecting to pass an hour. It tells you the solution right there, change the scan frequency settings of whatever mod "AND" is
