Alven lewd style


This is my very first mod and first try working with textures, so sorry for possible problems, I am fully open for suggestions.

To be honest, I originally made this just for my own playthrough. I really wanted a specific "vibe" for my colony something elegant, ancient, and elven with a spicy content. I wanted statues and buildings that celebrate nature and female beauty. There are some AKT mods, but they mostly flavor some fetishes, Gerrymon style is very good but it luck the detail arts in testures, that are in AKT styles mods ...

So... I decided to make it myself. It turned out much bigger than I expected, and I thought: "Why not share it?"

 

What's inside? I might have gone a bit overboard with the textures... as it was interesting to work with images and textures:

  • The "Caryatid" Columns

  • 70+ Sculptures.

  • Floor Decorations (Slabs): Over 50 different reliefs to make your floors look fancy, with textures from personalami and others very cool artists from rule34.

  • Furniture: Tables, doors, and ritual items in the style of lewd elven.

  • Floors: Luxury tiles for your throne room, I need to say very lewd tiles.

 

P.S. Since I'm still learning, there might be small bugs. Let me know in the comments if you find any, and I'll try to fix them.

 

Changelog:

Update to 1.1:
Fix the misstype in about.
Fix the doors not working correctly, some trobles with textures.

Resized active textures to improve memory usage:
- Small: 256x256
- Large: 512x512
- Grand: 1024x1024

Added a new 'SculptureSource' directory containing all original assets at 1024x1024 resolution (naming format: AlvSize_N). This allows users to manually swap designs or restore full 1024p resolution for specific sizes if desired.

    Texture Changes: To improve game performance and reduce RAM usage, I have optimized the default resolution of the sculptures based on their in-game size:

    • Small Sculptures: 256 x 256

    • Large Sculptures: 512 x 512

    • Grand Sculptures: 1024 x 1024

    For High-Res Lovers & Customizers: Do you want everything in 1024x1024 HD? Or perhaps you like a specific design from the "Small" category statue but want to use it as a "Grand" sculpture?

    I have added a new folder called SculptureSource inside the mod directory. This folder contains every sculpture image in full 1024x1024 resolution (named AlvSize_N).

    How to customize:

    1. Go to the SculptureSource folder.

    2. Find the image you like.

    3. Copy it.

    4. Navigate to the main texture folder (aka Alven_Lewd_Style\Textures\Things\Buildings\BuildingStyles\Alven\Sculptures\Large).

    5. Paste the file and rename it to match the file you want to replace (e.g., rename it to AlvLarge_23 or AlvGrand_21). Name must me the same as other images in the folder and in right order.

It's nice to finally get some more graphical style sets for ideology (of the Loverslab variety). One suggestion though: Does every texture really need to be 1024px for everything? What I mean is the largest sculptures are 2x2 tiles wide, and have 1024px textures. So giving the small 1x1 sculptures a 1024px texture as well seems like it's an unnecessary waste of RAM or load time for no overall increase in visual quality of your graphics set.

So I'd roughly change the file size of graphics to be proportionate to their size shown in-game. You could always keep the originals as a separate download for those who really want to maximize graphics or want to swap files around.

Thanks for adding more sexy statues and stuff to put into Rimworld.

 

When I tried to use the mod however, I got an error on load saying there is an extra cv in the About.xml file. After removing it, there were no errors. I'm not sure if the cv is supposed to have anything in it or change anything but just wanted to let you know.

Only small problem I found was you should remove the rogue "cv" at the end of line 6 in About.xml.

 

Other than that seems to work, was looking for more statue options. Thanks

Yes, I saw this problem with misstype of the cv in About, I fixed it, thank you all for mention it. For some reasons, I didn't see this comments as notification for my file, so only now found them.

I mostly use them as .dds so the size was not so important. I choose 1024px only because it was easy for me to work with images in this way, I will try to make it, and optional images make sence. 
I think it will be in next 1.1 version or something. I also found some problem with doors style that I want to fix, so it will be a little bit later all together.

How did you create the statue textures for this mod? I like the little platform to make it more statue-like but I don't know how to replicate it at all.

I was looking for some free to use images from the internet and I was using GIMP to merge them with image of the character together. I am not sure that I did all in the best way, but I tried :)

Most of them were personalami and some other arts by tags of goddess or elves. honestly I am not remember already, sorry.

No folder need to overwrite, you need just place the folder of the mod in the Rimworld/Mods and that's it. After you will have special style in Ideology, if you chose it - you will have all this statues and staff. For better use, I can advice also add mod "Selectable Sculpture Graphic" or something similar, then ytou after create statue can change the visual form, and choose the favourite one.

how tf to download this , first of all gitgud works slow as hell ,seccond of all where tf is download button.
