VIDEO

VIDEO IN DIAMOND CITY

Different bodies, faces, tattoes, hairs in video provided by Diverse Bodies Redux mod.

Features

  • Launches scenes between actors at a specified frequency and with a random chance of launch. Up to 128 scenes in parallel.
  • Search for valid poses and locations (up to 10 different actors in a scene).
  • Small talk between actors before the scene starts. 20 pickup lines with voice acting and lip-syncing and 20 response phrases launched randomly.
  • All actors who have recently had sex are tracked and excluded from the search for actors for scenes, so you don't end up with characters who are just sex machines.
  • Active companions are excluded from scenes, actors in combat are excluded from scenes, as are other inconsistent actor statements.
  • Scenes with creatures and between enemy NPCs are supported. A “runaway” mechanism is implemented to return to the starting point after a scene with a hostile NPC.
  • Quest markers places to scenes so that the player knows where “something” is happening.
  • Key actors (Kellogg, Sean, etc.) and inappropriate locations are excluded from scenes.
  • You can customize the exclusions yourself (but only with xEdit). For convenience, scripts have been added; examples can be found in the attached patches for the DLC. You can add specific locations, specific references to an actor or their base (NPC in xEdit) to the exclusions. There is also a keyword for exclusions.
  • NEW FEATURE in 1.1.5: I added the ability to set locations for playing alternative scene settings. You can specify separate locations where scenes will be launched using alternative settings instead of the main ones. I made this native for Diamond City and Vault 81. What does this mean in practice? I noticed that I have a lot of playback positions that I never see, which are not fully sexual in nature: Dancecyclopedia, with all kinds of hugging and dancing. At the same time, many people probably feel that explicit scenes are inappropriate in some locations, such as DC and V81. This feature will correct this omission: scenes of hugging, dancing, and kissing will be played randomly in these locations. To customize it for yourself, see Formlists in xEdit. Please note that Dancecyclopedia does not have unique tags for most animations (which I specified in settings.ini), so you will have to add them yourself in positionData.xml.
  • NEW FEATURE in 1.2.18: Add new races by editing the MCM config. See the article.

What's the difference between this and Invictus'?

Presumably this is a more functional version, most latest comments are those trying to troubleshoot and those who can't get it to run. I think Invictus fell prey to what kills all mod development, burnout and life responsibilities.

A shame for me because this 'updated' version is for builds 1.10.163 and I am 1.10.984

Most devastatingly it requires NAF and NAF bridge, and I could not get it to work. Probably me being stupid.

Posted

I'm getting messages that my character notices sex, and I'll see an NPC posing alone on the ground with none approaching them/fucking them.

Also would like a way to be able to turn off that message if you're going to update the mod later.

Posted (edited)

I tried the early version, but it kept giving errors, I very rarely saw sex, and in 95% of cases it was from one actor. Same with the new version. Using the mod in this form is completely useless.

NAF also requires 1.10.163.0.

Well I've downgraded to 1.10.163.0, updated (or downdated?) f4se and MCM to the same verision, struggling with robco patcher because it's archives don't appear to be labeled to a specific version, but i've forgotten what's depended on it(I hope it wasn't important so I just unintallled ), then I went through and deleted the enclave creation club crap (seriously the telsa cannon is a pain to use). Now I've deleted the AAF folder(so it doesn't hold my game hostage)  and will be using this mod, naf and naf bridge as a test drive.

Wish me luck

I tried the latest version again. No progress at all. Constant messages about skipping scenes. The few scenes that started were single, only once did I see a scene with two actors (two men). In the village were Strong, Nick and the dog. For all three it gave errors that their races were not allowed, even though they were allowed.

Hey @Evi1Panda

I've spent a few days testing AutonomySex 1.1.5 with NAFbridge 1.30. Of course the mod is in its early days, and despite a couple of bugs and freeze-crashes it is working quite well. Here are some things which might need attention though:

1. There is no ON/OFF function! There are many areas of normal gameplay where Autonomy is a serious interference, especially during quests or game-critical NPC dialogue exchanges. Autonomy2.8 has a hotkeyed enable/disable function to turn Autonomy completely on/off when needed. I consider this to be an essential control.

2. There is no NPC blacklist/whitelist system. When i mentioned this before you might have thought i was talking about location blacklisting, but that is a different function. Autonomy2.8 has the best NPC blacklist/whitelist system i have seen in any mod. It is the reason i am using Autonomy2.8 with it's gender alias bug rather than Autonomy 2.75, which did not have that bug, but also had no functional blacklist.
Autonomy2.8 uses Factional blacklisting, where entire factions can be permitted or banned to have Autonomy sex. The "Autonomous Perk" is an attribute given to NPCs that prevents/allows them from having sex. The Autonomous Perk is distributed to entire Factions of NPCs (via Robco or SPID) according to the player's preferences at game boot.

Then there is another level of blacklisting where the Autonomous Perk can be given to or taken from any NPC under the cursor by a toggle Hotkey. E.g. Vendors, guards or Followers who you don't want to be distracted by Autonomy. A more detailed description is HERE.

3. There is no equivalent to the AAF F11 hotkey, i.e. Player Character has sex with NPC under cursor. When Ivy says "Fuck Me NOW!" a hotkey is the only way to go.

It is also fun to have a hotkey to force NPC under cursor to have solo sex scene.

4. There needs to be an easily accessible (hotkey) function that immediately stops all active scenes. If the player fast travels from an area with active Autonomy scenes, often those NPCs will not have re-equipped their apparel on your next visit. There are other occasions where Autonomy scenes are faulty or misplaced and a single hotkey to cancel active animations would be useful. Accessing the NAF GUI to stop scenes requires too many keystrokes and is very tedious. Using NAFbridge "Cancel Active Animations and Clear Cache" requires many keystrokes and does not always work the first time.

5. Could the "Max distance between actors" and "Max distance from furniture" controls be increased to 1500 or more?

6. The "Hetero scene" control does not work very well. Despite setting at 100, I have observed quite a few MM, FF, MMM, FFF, FFFF, MMMM scenes generated by AutonomySex.

****

In the meantime, i have discovered that Autonomy2.8 works side-by-side with AutonomySex very happily! I am using Autonomy2.8 to generate 1P and 2P animations and AutonomySex to generate the 3P+ scenes. This arrangement is working very well and generates more concurrent scenes than either mod does on its own, as well as giving the benefit of the blacklist for the Autonomy2.8 scenes. I just wish i could toggle AutonomySex ON/OFF with the same hotkey as Autonomy2.8 ...

EDIT: Using these settings AutonomySex is constantly generating 1-3 3P+ scenes concurrently at the same time as Autonomy2.8 is generating 1-6 1P and 2P scenes concurrently in large (30+NPCs) settlements and heavily populated vanilla and DLC environments.

Alright. time to play "where'd I screw up."

Despite downgrading my fallout 4 and experimenting with NAF, naficator and NAFbridge (Its amazing holy shit) I have this as a roadblock

It just scrolls on and on about invalid IDs mixed with all the MCM settings.

(The guard's pants is probably a error based off the gas mask mod radstorm mods, you and NPCs auto equip gasmasks casting aside whatever gets in the way, failure ends with 60-120 rads per second. I'm going to get rid of that mod if NAF forces me to strip everything all the time(did I miss that setting?)

@dosfox Hi there.

Heuh... I am a proponent of native gameplay, and what irritates me most is when I have to resort to manual workarounds—stopping or turning something off and then turning it back on. I believe that gameplay should be seamless. That's why I tried to exclude all important NPCs from participating in this celebration of unbridled life. And that's why I never think about turning anything off. Nevertheless, I left this option open — you just need to set a negative Loop duration.

Quote

There is no NPC blacklist/whitelist system. When i mentioned this before you might have thought i was talking about location blacklisting, but that is a different function. Autonomy2.8 has the best NPC blacklist/whitelist system i have seen in any mod. Well, it's the same story here. My philosophy is that the entire game should be configured BEFORE you click START GAME in the menu. Well, at least immediately after you exit 111. That's why I definitely won't implement a workaround like hovering over an NPC and adding it to the exception list that way. I think solutions like that annoy me even more than enabling and disabling...

Quote

There is no equivalent to the AAF F11 hotkey, i.e. Player Character has sex with NPC under cursor. When Ivy says "Fuck Me NOW!" a hotkey is the only way to go.

Sorry, it seems that all my excuses today will be related to my worldview. You probably remember from everything I've said before that I really don't like it when people try to cram everything into one modification. So I'll say it straight out: this modification is for NPCs to do their own thing, not the player. For sex with Ivy and other NPCs, there should be other mods. By the way, I think AE suffers from this very problem — over time, the author decided to cram everything into it.

Quote

There needs to be an easily accessible (hotkey) function that immediately stops all active scenes. If the player fast travels from an area with active Autonomy scenes, often those NPCs will not have re-equipped their apparel on your next visit. Using NAFbridge "Cancel Active Animations and Clear Cache" requires many keystrokes and does not always work the first time.

I already added this, but probably in 1.1.6 or 1.1.7—I don't remember exactly, but I didn't post those intermediate versions, which is probably why you didn't notice it. I added a character unloading control, after unloading the scene is interrupted automatically.

Quote

Could the "Max distance between actors" and "Max distance from furniture" controls be increased to 1500 or more?

Yes, but I assumed that the distance restrictions should be close enough to the player so that player can see the scene, and close enough between scene's actors so that the actors don't have to be dragged across the entire map. In general, you can change these restrictions in the MCM json file; it's not difficult. I don't think I hardcoded such restrictions.

Quote

The "Hetero scene" control does not work very well. Despite setting at 100, I have observed quite a few MM, FF, MMM, FFF, FFFF, MMMM scenes generated by AutonomySex.

Yes, I know. I guess I fixed in 1.1.8

It's great that you found something for yourself in this 🙂 But, of course, I didn't see it that way myself.
In any case, thank you for your detailed callbacks, they are quite useful!

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to offend anyone. I understand perfectly well that modding can't do without crutches. But there are some things I just can't bring myself to like. For example, I can't play with the Just Business mod with its ridiculous system — switch to hunting mode with a button. It would be better if it was by equipping slave trader clothes, or a whip that activates the mode when you equip it. That would be much more immersive than just pressing a button... I just immediately lose immersion.

An idea came to mind, maybe I'll implement it later—the ability to interrupt a scene with a phrase like, “What are you doing? There are people around!” 😀

Hey @Ehgak

Sorry to see all the problems you are having. Here is a method which will guarantee you have a fully functioning NAFbridge install ...

  1. START A NEW GAME
  2. Make sure the game version is 1.10.163.

@dosfox

I do have 2 test saves, one right before leaving vault 111 and after for testing. I'll unistall and reinstall everything to see if that works.

Thank you for being graceful. Loverslab is a slice of how the internet used to be. At worse here people are snarky, feels like peace compared to most social media.

Having ADHD and being interrupted mid troubleshooting can make modding difficult. But I've had a lot of fun just plugging in values in FO4edit to make mods interact with each other, which I could not have learned well without help from others like yourself.

Thanks for your patience.

Step 4 should not actually be a necessary step.
Steps 7-10 directly relate to the installation and configuration of the bridge. And, I believe, the most difficult point is 10.
This is the process of converting XML for AAF to XML for NAF. After using NAFicate, make sure that:
1. Many xml files have been created in the Data/NAF folder, with names beginning with Panda's NAFicator ... xml
2. Inside these files, there are “live” (uncommented) references to animations and everything related to them. If NAFicator was unable to convert something, it usually writes the reason in a comment next to the specific entry.
