CptObvious1337 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 (edited) So, I found another way to upset your mod. I started using Minuteman's Last Stand, because fuck Preston and his endless mission nonsense. Didn't realise your guild members on their quest sort of rely on Preston and his gang being there. Killed all the raiders, even the ones inside but no quest completion because no Preston to rescue. On the upside I now have two bonus 'followers' that don't count towards the follower limit 😁 The game did crash when I tried to enter the Guild with them though. I also have been being naughty and using console commands to unlock the doors to get more points to level, rather than grinding the easy levels to progress normally in the dungeon. Mimirue17 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 There are other more kinky ways to level then to simply fighting the dungeon. Once you gain membership, most sex acts gain you 1 point in adventure level advancement. If you are simultaneously playing other mods that involve a lot of sex you will unlock the levels while playing them. Examples are the Pervert Mod and Ivan's training, Raider pet and other such mods. I also use MSMA to sexfight (combat through sex) with quite a few of the creatures in the dungeon through violate and its patches to expand the creatures available to it. I really love this concept and hope this keeps developing and can not wait to have the next section unlocked as I have reached the max level multiple times on different characters! By the time I reach the end I think I have gone through hundreds of vials to collect samples and so many epic drops. Great mod btw keep up the good work 👍 Okay so turns out it might not have been your mods fault for the crash but the quest 'The Quest' is certainly not able to be finished without the presence of the Minutemen in the game. Maybe there's a way to check for a flag or something that verifies they exist? Also realised I was still using version .36 Alpha ... updating now. I'll add a check for the existence of Preston in the future Type this in the console: Spoiler setstage WG_IntroQuest 160 then you can say goodbye to them and the quest will end or end it drectly with setstage WG_IntroQuest 200 And then the two NPCs will go to their regular routine. I dont know if it is the main mod or the voices mod that causes it but any settler I create with the Abduction Lite mod acquires the voices from this mod and become unusable as vendors. They just want to have thew dialogue that your mod offers. 2. I know the chalkboard missions are randomly chosen and all but had to complete two of the missions identically back to back. Turned in dog, got dog for next quest. Turned in Preston and got Preston next quest. Kind of put me off as to wondering why I am doing this. Would like to see real purpose behind the cum gathering quests. Sort of a noble pursuit if you will. Would also like to see hostile targets to make it a bit more challenging. Why anyone would want Abbot;s cum is beyond me lol....or Sheffield. Would much rather see options for Bosco, Jared or others. Could be research for what goes into making a sadistic lunatic or something. Could even create your own diabolical enemies that may be immune to traditional means of disposal, but research through the guild may unlock a weakness. Might even be a kinky weakness where the enemy is worn down over time reducing his power. rambling at this point I know but I really think the mod could be really cool with a goal for the cum collection. Please tell me what your settlers are actually saying, so I can check that Fallout sometimes seems to like to use a random target twice in a row even if there are thousands of other possible choices. This also happens when you do a quest with random containers, etc. I can create an array that tracks the last 20 targets or so and exclude themfrom being used again before they are removed from that list. Hello! My mod doesn't start any AAF scenes (apart from two exceptions). To collect the sample you can initiate an AAF scene with any AAF mod, like AAF SEU, Hardship, Sexual Harassment etc. My Mod just listens for the event and thats also the way rank progression works. For voiced dialogue you need to install the (v036) Voicefiles.
not a BT shirt Posted February 9 Posted February 9 started a new playthrough, using the latest release for the mod and theres nothing conflicting as i even tried using this mod on its own (with the pre-reqs installed aswell), the game crashes when doing the quest to hand in tavis' semen vial, so when you talk to the guild lady and you select the give vial option, the game instant crashes there

If the game crashes another time when you try again, you can skip that part by entering this in the console; SetStage WG_RQ00_Initiation 1000 This ends the Quest and gives you the badge and a key. Darlene would normally say this after a succesful Delivery:

Indeed, there was only a very small list of potential targets and the tasks were repeated., This has been fixed in the latest version. Now each new head of inquiry gives a new goal. I've been playing for hours and there have been almost no repeats. Each time there is a new goal. Moreover, even from other mods. It perfectly motivates you to travel and complete various quests related to the characters that have been chosen as targets. Many thanks to the author 1

Why are you collecting cum or this guild? What are they doing with the samples? Why is it important? It just seems to me that its rather pointless and unending. If you just want the top tier collar which unlocks all of the dungeon, you dont really need to do those quests. Any sex counts. Now dont get me wrong, I like the idea of the quests for what amounts to a sex bounty board. I just need a reason for it. It has potential and I know the mod as is probably isnt finished yet so theres that. I guess when you have been playing this game since 2015, you desire a deeper story line. We already have Preston to send us on radiant quests we have done hundreds of times. So sick of him that I leave him in the damned museum. I understand Im probably in the minority in feeling that way, but I despise any kind of go fetch, go do quest with no clear and meaningful objective. You think about the Fallout TV show where Hank is building these little mind control devices to control people and use them to work on a common goal. That has purpose, devious though it may be. What if the cum collection was being used to gather a broad range DNA background that could be used to create a serum that makes enemies passive or something. Maybe even use it in the syringer rifle. Maybe even make them work as settlers. I know there are mods that already do things like that but they dont have the front end Wasteland Adventurers Guild does. They dont have the kink aspect if you follow. Im not even saying that is the specific scenario I would choose. Just providing it as an example. Since you are collecting these samples, it could be open ended to several goals that could provide benefits to the player. The front end of the mod is great. Need a goal for it though.

When I started it, I was not sure if this mod would make any sense in a fallout scenario Its planned to have some background and small quests in the future. 1
Mimirue17 Posted February 15 Posted February 15 As a huge Anime Fan and Light Novel reader - Dungeons like this are comfort zone so I really hope you stay with the project. I also love there are many ways to handle these levels, the Kinky all the way to the gun blazing route. As the story develops and a few reasons why the collection of samples is so important - (last run through opening all the levels ended up with 260 samples including all sorts of creatures and humans) I could easily see this as a staple in many load orders. I lends it self well to many other mods, and just think what scientists could do with all those samples, breeding farms? gene splicing? mutation research? super soldier serums....you get the idea.

After I returned to Sanctuary and finished doing the building there in prep for the idiots to show up (i.e. Preston and Crew) and headed towards Concord. Ran into the pair of Guildies on the way and started the quest. They did not seem to realize I was already a member, which was kind of expected as you would not normally be one already, and went and did the rescue of the crew there. Just wanted to give you a heads up on this, and maybe they would recognize the membership but deny any rewards as it was their quest and a higher rank then you are currently (I believe they were rank 3 could be wrong there). The loot was still your reward for helping as it was in the base quest. BTW this does work fine with the new Story Mode being built into the mod MSMA which includes some unique dialogue with Preston, Sturges and Marcy before Vixen's part activates with Preston. 1

Yes rank recognition and also a bit of competion is planned but not yet implemented. Sapphire and Ruby are ranks 5 and 7. It's good to read that this mod works well with the new story mode of MSMA. Please let me know if you notice any problems so that I can adjust things in my mod.

If one of the existing settlement brothel mods fires an event if you built a certain thing like the brothel beacon, it might be doable. The latter might be a limiting factor, if an NPC is not set to unique, it will not be chosen. And random choice is weird sometimes 🙂 Edited March 9 by Heinzelman
