kingofsaints46 Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 This was a shower thought I felt like turning into an actual question I felt like asking. Out of all the characters to exist in media which one do you all think has been modded into video games the most? Is it some kind of joke character like Freddy Fazbear from FNAF or Shrek...from Shrek? Or is it a prime gooner material character like Krystal from Star Fox or Lara Croft from Tomb Raider?
xXDeliteXx Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 The girls from the Dead or Alive video games I'd imagine 1
Ashal Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Character that has been modded into a game? I'd probably wager it's 2B from Nier Automata. Her character model has been copied into many games as a simple player model replacement during the early modding phases of many games.  I highly doubt FNAF, Shrek, Krystal, or Lara Croft come anywhere close. As far as "joke" characters to get modded into a game, my first instinct is Thomas the Tank Engine, based purely on how much people memed on the Skyrim dragon replacement mod for them. But I don't really keep up with or use joke mods tbh. 2
ghastley Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 It's a more interesting question if you exclude ports from one game to another. Doing that has a bias towards models that are easy to extract. If there is no existing model, who is the popular creation?
kingofsaints46 Posted November 2, 2025 Author Posted November 2, 2025 So far we got as answers: the girls from DoA, 2B, Thomas The Tank Engine, and Tifa Lockheart. Pretty good answers, a buddy of mine mentioned someone that really made me think about it. Goku.
shrtjsrtj Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 Homer Simpson. He was in everything in the early 2000's and is still getting into games now. 2
