Why doesn't LoversLab advertise the fact that you can support them and get benefits from doing so?

What about an (additional) annual funding campaign like wikipedia does ?

Probabbly hard to actually implement due to payment processors and of course having a sufficent stream of money each month is a lot more comfortable,

but maybe there are viable options for somthing like that ?

A campaign to at least bring to attention that if we'd like to keep this place running as the modding safe heaven, it needs money to do so. A lot of people don't even think about that when using this site and/or while enjoying it's content. There is also a group of people don't care and are just freeloading. Those will never donate anything, one time or monthly, so don't waste effort into that group. But I do think that making the methods to donate, either one time or monthly, in a less begging way than Wikipedia does could help. As what the OP states is not new, and I've seen it mentioned before. (Wiki actually does not need your money to keep running, that's just a scare tactic. But that's another story all together.)

Ko-Fi is also quite popular for easy one time donations. It does not require content to be posted on it to keep alive, so it also wont get axed for "NSFW is bad".

I'll also add a link to the donation in my sig at least.

Hey, long time lurker here.

I didn't know you struggled with funding. I just subscribed.

I'd like to know if you could use some other forms of help.

You have access to a large community of developers here, me included.

Wether it can save you time or help you either develop features or even optimize things here and there, I would be interested to see if there is room for contribution.

Possibly it's already happening and I'm unaware, let us know?

Anyway thanks for the work

Ko-Fi

I just had a look at it. It apparently supports local methods of payment, allowing me to show middle finger to PayPal and Visa while not requiring a registration.

Buymeacoffee on the other hand seems to only support the big payment processors, and what little direct bank transfer it does, they're all US-based. So this one is not an option.

@Ashal you should definitely look into it.
