Problems with Sexout

Okay, so I had to reinstall Fallout New Vegas, so I went and reinstalled all of my former Sexout mods. But, I decided to pick up a few new ones while doing so, and I have encountered a problem. It's not crashes, or bugs, or anything like that. Instead, I guess I installed a 'troll' mod, or a fake one. All I hear during a sex scene, instead of the normal 'dialogue' I hear a bunch of audio clips put together. It sounds like they're from a movie, but I thought it was a simple bug. So, while walking around, I got a dialogue box. The kind where it tells you whether or not you're using NVSE, or that a DLC is working, etc. It said something that happens in Harry Potter, as if it were trying to spoil the story for me. So then I knew something was up. If anyone knows of the mod that does this, could you please tell me it? I would like to clean this from my FNV game.

You have 2 solutions I think :

 - you deactivate some mods to see if the problem remain and do the same with other mods while you don't find the one bugged.

 - you stop using mods at all

You should know by now that you need to put up a load order so that people can see the mods you have.

Without that we would need to call madam cleo

So without that info read all the info from all the mods you installed. The info that you are looking for is in those mod descriptions.

When you think you have a problem with Sexout, it's usually Sexout that has the problem with you. Especially when you don't read the instructions.

Don't tell me you did, because I know you didn't. Your "bug" is proof.

Or you can start over and just install sexout and the requirements.

Then load the mods you know.. test

then read, read, and then re-read the new mods carefully. If there is something listed or described there you don't like ... don't load it. Test some more.

When satisfied start a new game and enjoy. Next time don't dump a bunch of unknown mods into a game without some testing for conflicts and issues.

I knew it wasn't 'Sexout having a problem with me' because a simple 'bug' that I described it as wouldn't put audioclips from movies inside of the sex scenes, spawn giant geckos inside the Goodsprings Saloon, spawn strange meat pies below me as I walked, and randomly start playing the "ABC's song" during combat. I don't think a normal mod would put Harry Potter spoilers to randomly pop up either. Also, sorry if I'm coming on a bit hostile, if I do I don't mean it as that.

Moved to tech support.

Sorry about that, I didn't really think this was a tech support issue, because I only had a problem with the content of the mod and not getting it to run, but I'll know better next time.

Um yeah, you didn't read the instructions for a mod, because if you did you would know why that particular mod is doing those things to your game if you had read them.

Okay, I saw at the very end of the mod description that it says it's a prank, but I didn't think of reading that part because I just read the known issues, requirements, and I saw it was a .FOMod file so I downloaded it. I apologize.

The second issue is you didn't post a load order. Someone here with the load order could / would have seen that that mod was there within the first few minutes of posting and let you know the mod that needed to be removed. It took more time because it took someone that tried that mod and experienced the issues to come and inform you of the issue.

1.. read the entire OP instructions even the credits. If in post clarification questions in the thread.

2.. post a load order each and every thread that you create where you have mod issues. Even if you don't think it is needed. It is placed there for others to help them rule out the issues and speed up the support.

3.. describe exactly the issues and what happened and when it happens. Basically all the problems you want/ need solved. This you did do very well.

I don't want to come off harsh. I have learned the above and follow them. Now when I post an issue I usually can get an good answer within the first 2 post. ;)

Alright, thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to use it next time!

That one is a deliberate plant to catch the "install every file I can find" people. We just tend to get the same issues reported over and over again, unfortunately Sexout & it's plugins are a little more complicated than your average God Armor/Gun mod, so when people tend to install everything at once without reading requirements/conflicts or checking the basic parts work first, many things tend to go wrong, then we get people reporting issues in one thread that are actually caused by another plugin that they didn't read about first or they have no idea which plugin is crashing their game.
