Taven Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Hey im having a problem where we get to the bed and initiate all any of the options and we go to the bed and nothing happens You need to run FNIS, and if you've already done that, it may mean you misplaced/accidentally removed/messed the sex anims, so you'll need to see if they're set in place right. Go to your Skyrim data folder, and go through the folders in this order, meshes/actors/character/animations/sexlab once in the sexlab folder, make sure everything's in place properly or if any animations like missionary is missing.

Unfortunately, any npc that doesn't have vanilla voices does not work with this mod, so no. Even using a mod npc causes them to follow you endlessly in the house and initiate a conversation, and from then on they're kinda broken..so you have to turn off entry events if you plan to have a mod npc. I thought this could be solved with silent voices too, but so far, nobody has stepped up to the plate to do it. With how long this has been going on..I don't think anybody will. ><

Especially with how common it is to use NPC mods. I'd do it myself but I don't know the first thing about making a mod or editing one.
OTC Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Came here to ask about Interesting NPCs, looks like I've been beaten to the punch! I've been poking around the CK to see what I can do, but without proper documentation on what the original author changed, or how he/she changed it, it's going to take some time to feel my way around. If anybody reading has some knowledge about the inner workings of the mod, I'd really appreciate it. The big issue right now that makes 3DNPC incompatible with SE is that 3DNPC's npcs do not appear to utilize the normal follower frameworks--rather, that mod introduces its own altered versions of the original frameworks which its NPCs utilizes. An example is how, without any follower mods, you can actually bring an NPC follower from 3DNPC along with your usual vanilla follower--it's because 3DNPC uses its own follower framework separate from the original. It's also why lots of mods that alter follower dialogue/behaviour, such as UFO, don't completely work with 3DNPC. After a quick look, I actually saw that in SE there are cases for when your spouse does not match normal checks--such as, they are utilizing special voices, special gender classifications, so on and so forth. Logic dictates that this should work for 3DNPC, especially considering how SE can correctly detect that you've married f.ex. Isobel or Rumarin--3DNPC must be using *something* from vanilla in regards to its marriageable candidates, otherwise SE wouldn't work at all. Big issue right now is, I can't even open 3DNPC in the CK at the moment. I'm getting errors and "missing string localizations" all over the damn place, followed by CK crashing to desktop. I'm going to reinstall that mod and see if that changes it--I only hope this isn't some way that the 3DNPC author is protecting his work, because if it is, unfortunately there's not much I can do about it; it's his mod, after all. I need to see how his marriage NPCs work before I can adjust things for SE to work with it. 1
skyrima Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Is anybody else having the infinite 'Watch and pleasure yourself?' bug? Lydia is completely useless and it's driving me up the wall! No matter what I do (mod uninstallation, deleting the 'masterbate' [sic] script instance from the save game, nothing. If I uninstall SE, you can't even talk to the NPC. Recycleactor, no avail. Any suggestions? SE may have just permanently killed Lydia for me...
Darkening Demise Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Have you tried disabling the mod, loading the game and talking to her? Have you tried loading a previous save? Have you tried going to bed and waking up to have sex/foreplay? I had this before and fixed it by loading an earlier save, autosave file. This helped fix it but I got the problem where you cannot talk to your spouse. Instead you get to hear them say their one line constantly every time you try to interact. I fixed this issue by disabling the mod and loading the game, then saving and enabling the mod again.
skyrima Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Solved it by trying to remove individual SE scripts from the save file. After one attempt, miraculously, it just started working again! I reset the character using AFT, and voila. Fixed But thanks anyway for the response!
Sacremas Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I would suggest using Lover's Comfort for mod-added NPCs like 3DNPC rather than Spouses Enhanced, that doesn't care about unique voices and works for any NPC you are married to, you can even be married to multiple NPCs at once and it'll still work separately for each of them. It also adds that your spouse sends you love letters if you stay away from them too long, and if you neglect them for too long they can be unfaithful, most likely with your housecarl but also possibly other NPCs.

There's probably no way to do it besides the spell, and setting up a master bed in a custom home is probably impossible. I believe because most custom homes now-a-days don't have much pathing for npcs, and if they do, not for spouses....that's my guess anyway. I've just heard that it's next to impossible to do this for a custom home at one point. 1
Tanglin Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I frequently get a Windows C ++ error when the mod is about to call Sexlab animations. The game would just hang. I have other mods that call Sexlab animations installed, like Defeat, Deviously Cursed Loot, Captured Dreams, but they never hang the game; only Spouses Enhanced. I enjoy the roleplaying aspect of the mod , and would hate to have to uninstall it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? Or is there anything I could do to get around it?

I ended up uninstalling this mod because I found another that designated the Underground Bathouse as my home and let my spouse move in there, however this mod kept wanting to reset my master bed (causing my spouse to move) to Breezehome instead. First, I freaking love this mod, thanks TheDudeGuy. Having ventured over to Solstheim, I have similar "master bed" trouble to the folk above at Severin Manor (Raven Rock city house) in the Dragonborn DLC. Hubby gets sent to Lakeview Manor to use the NobleBed there. Trouble at Severin Manor is the Bed Type is not listed in the SexLabBeds Form ID list for the framework. TheDudeGuy, maybe if you have any sway with Ashal you could ask for DLC2DarkElfBedDouble01 [Furn 03032802] , and DLC2DarkElfBed01 [Furn 03021749] to be added to the SexLabBeds Form ID List in the framework sometime soon please? Many thanks ! ...Unless you know another way around this....? I'm actually a newb, trying to work out how stuff works though.

RandomSkyrimPlayer Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 (edited) I'm having a problem with this mod and I'm wondering if anyone can help me. The "My Love..." dialogue option mentioned in the mod description is not showing up for me at all when I speak to my Wife Ysolda. She just has her regular dialogue options. Both the Framework and this mod all seem to be working correctly except that I have no new dialogue options at all. I have made the bed in our home the master bed, forced "Ignore Children", forced Affection level 4, used the Lover's Surrender Power, enabled events, and even tried entering and leaving our home several times. I don't have any other mods that might affect NPC behavior. Anybody have any clue what is going wrong or how to fix this? Edit: This fixed itself. I didn't change anything, I just went off to complete a few quests and when I came back, the dialogue was finally available. Edited April 11, 2015 by RandomSkyrimPlayer
RabbleRauser Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I don't believe this feature has been added to the mod yet, so this is mostly a question directed at TheDudeGuy - although he doesn't appear to have posted here in awhile: It was mentioned previously in this thread about possibly adding "in-the-field" options for this mod if your spouse is also a follower (which should very well be the case if you're married to Serana, in my opinion). I'm just wondering whether that's currently is in the mod, or whether it's being worked on. Really, it'd be great to hear from the mod creator about the current progress on the mod in general if he's still around and reading the thread, but I'm not expecting that. Sorry, according to the changelog, this appears to be the case. Still, if TheDudeGuy is still around and reading the thread, I would be anxious to hear if any work is still being done on the mod. EDIT: It appears to be the case that the original mod creator isn't working on this anymore. Is it being continued by anyone as another mod or maintained by anyone? Just curious.

I've experimented a lot to find out why the Interesting NPC spouses aren't compatible with this mod and the results I've got seem to match what the general consensus is all throughout this thread. It's all down to the voice type, since they use voices that aren't supported by the Vanilla marriage dialogue script (obviously, since they're custom voices) the 'My love...' option, and entry dialogue events don't activate, since there's no supported voicefile response for their voice type. So it actually affects any spouse that doesn't use a Vanilla spouse voicetype, not just Interesting NPC ones. I double checked this by getting Familiar Faces, which you can change the voicetype to any vanilla ones for the character you make, and beside the voicetypes in parenthesis it showed which factions the voicetype were supported for (spouse, follower, adoption, etc). Standing next to them in the house, I'd changed their voicetype to a standard spouse supported voice (such as MaleNord), and the 'My love...' option appeared, without moving, I changed it to an unsupported spouse voicetype like 'Male Khajiit' and it disappeared. That's not really helpful, I know, since that was what everyone already concluded anyway, but it's nice to be able to directly test it, I suppose. In an earlier post, however, someone mentioned that they couldn't get to change voicetypes for Interesting NPC characters to support silent dialogue. It should be possible, because Interesting NPC's are able to have silent dialogue with other mods, like Lover's Comfort, Follower Wander, etc. I don't know the first thing about modding, but I'd presume that the fix would be more from the Spouses Enhanced side rather than the individual follower's voice type. That's what I think worked for the INPC's to have the silent dialogue for the mods above I mentioned.Perhaps anyone who knows about modding could go in and change all of the voicetypes from Spouses Enhanced to something that is universally useable by any NPC, regardless of voicetype. Isn't that what the mod Fuz Ro Doh does? It's a silent voicetype useable by any NPC, right? If the entry events and SE dialogue responses used that 'FuzRoDoh' voicetype for those situaions, then it would make the mod compatible with any follower, Vilja, Interesting NPC's, and unsupported Vanilla spouses like Khajiit, Male Altmer, etc, because they could all use that. But, easier said than done, I know, it's probably a lot more complicated than that I'm sure, but that's just what I've gathered from my experiments. Because LOOT keeps trying to put SharedSeranaDialogue higher than the load order in the OP. If someone knows how to change the masterlist or set custom rules in for LOOT so this is fixed automatically, that would be appreciated.

If my character's wife or husband gets killed/divorced and remarries, does this mod still work with the new marriage? I ask, because I'm currently planning on making a new character. She lives a peaceful life in Solitude married to her husband, until one day her husband is killed and thus she sets out in a quest for revenge. Wanna know if she can remarry afterwards.

Well, if a spouse dies, you have to use a series of console commands to reset the marriage quest, as you can't remarry without doing it. I suggest a 'mod'(I guess you can call it a mod Idk..) that has you can put in your skyrim that just has you put 'bat divorce' in your console and it resets the marriage quest for you. After the quest is reset, you should be able to remarry, and when you do this mod should take notice.
