My game keeps rapidly blurring then is clear...

Hi guys,

 

I just recently come back to Skyrim after a lengthy break and rebuilt my game using Lovely Luna's guide to modding - her most recent I

believe - but I have a problem which I can't seem to find a solution for.

 

My game keeps rapidly blurring and going clear constantly no matter where I am. At the moment my character (which I just started) is

in the club which is part of the 'Dark Desires - Circle of lust' mod.  I don't believe its the club itself but I can't find a solution online. I've

tried a few things but nothing works.  

 

I'm wondering if anyone has an idea how to stop this. The version of the game I am using is: 1.6.1170.0 in case that matters.

You've got a survival plugin added - do you have a disease of some sort and the blurriness is a symptom.  Check your active effects, or maybe cure diseases at a shrine or something?

In my case, a similar "blur" is caused by the enb setting used.

 

So, if I step out of a "house" and the sun is shining outside according to the "weather" – then, in addition to a glare effect, I also get a "blur"... basically a simulation of the "accommodation" of the eye (the adjustment of the light refraction of the eye lens by deforming it).

 

This effect also occurs when aiming in archery.

 

I can only assume (see the "Obsidian Weathers.esp" list) that the TE also uses an "enb" and that her problems are related to its settings.

Right near the top of your list, under fishing - ccQDRSSE001-SurvivalMode.esl

 

If I remember right, it will ask you at game start if you want to turn on survival mode or not.  I play with it off, so I'm only guessing at a disease effect.

 

You can look at active effects in your MCM, I think it's the last tab under your magic menu.  The same place where you can see your various resistances, Well Rested bonus, etc.

Oh yeah.  It did ask me that. I just answered 'no'. (refering to the survival mode)

 

So, Muauzi triggered something in my brain....did I install my ENB?

Turns out, I didn't (because I really shouldn't mod my game at 2 a.m. lol).

So I installed that, and fiddle a bit with the 'depth of field' and the 'fades'

sliders, and now it works.

Actually its still doing it in enclosed spaces. I'll look around for another possible solution. 

 

Now its not doing it...not sure why but it's fixed.
