## New
- Increasing lactating severity past a certain stage (which stage can be adjusted in settings) may now change pawn's body type. Females will have female body type and males may have either male body type, female body type, or disabled separately in the settings.
- If RJW Quirks is installed, the above mechanic may also let the pawn acquire the fertile quirk if enabled in the setting, removing incompatible quirk in the process.

## Other
- Changed up positive mood decriptions of human cattle prisoner and/or slave precepts to add some variety.
- Fixed double spaces on cattle conditioning's mood mechanic's label prefix.

So for some reason, when I set a pawn to breastfeeding only diet, they will just starve themselves despite there being plenty of lactating pawns set to allow anyone to breastfeed. This same pawn will still consume milk that has been milked from lactators, though that is probably because of the food policy. I could have sworn this was working at some point, and then stopped. Any idea why?

if your pawn has breastfeeding only diet, they shouldnt try to eat normal food to begin with, regardless of their food policy. this includes milk that has been milked from other pawns. i suspect theres a mod that conflicts with my food finding behavior patch

can I question this mod need DLC Ideology?

When I start rimworld, debug mesage say [No RimWorld.StatDef named SlaveSuppressionOffset found to give to RimWorld.StatModifier (null stat)] and [StatDef named CertaintyLossFactor found to give to RimWorld.StatModifier].

in playing game, i did not encounter a error, and i enjoy lactating. But i curious about error message.

thanks for reporting. it seems ive forgotten to disable an Ideology specific feature on one of the items if you dont have the DLC on. i'll fix it next update

I have two more requests—though they’re not really bugs.

 

First, regarding Pawns with very high milk capacity: when I feed or milk them,

their hunger level seems to drop below zero, and if I don’t feed them manually, they become malnourished. Is there any way to fix this?

 

Second, the game automatically milks Pawns when their milk capacity reaches the maximum, but is it possible to limit this to once a day or something similar?

Pawns reach maximum capacity multiple times a day, resulting in very frequent milking, which is a bit of a nuisance.

 

I would appreciate your consideration of these points.

the issues you describe sounds similar to ones you get if you load the mod mid save. milking should not instantly drop hunger and lactation only fills to 100% once a day, barring mood based productivity mechanic

 

make sure you didnt load the mod on an existing save that was created without the mod, nor did you load the mod on a save that had a different milking mod before

Fixed multiple milking precepts listed as classic.

Reworded description of human produce special thing filters.

Fixed joyous status on cattle conditioning still reverting even though it should be permanent.

Removed mention of using biosculpter to revert cattle conditioning if Ideology is not loaded.

Changed warning of cattle blessing pawn requirement to be more descriptive.

it gets annoying having to update the mod info everytime. i acknowledge this mod needs to get some sort of wiki soon. anyway, another update

 

New Genes
- Added genes that changes what resource comes out of lactating pawns. Currently, chemfuel, go-juice, and three insect jelly genes with differing efficiencies.
- If RJW Genes is loaded, the aforementioned genes will use its system of changing sex fluid in the breasts. Added chemfuel and go-juice sex fluids. Cum milk gene from RJW Genes is now exclusive to the aforementioned milk resource genes.
- Added genes that will gradually make the carrier gain lactation and/or cattle conditioning up to a certain severity upon reaching full maturity.

 

Other Changes
- Added a new column to the lactation tab to set until how much milk on the map should lactators continue being milked.

My issue has been resolved. Also, the hunger problem was resolved by using the new data.

One thing, though: even when I set the feeding policy to “breast milk first” or “breast milk only,” the system still proceeds with a regular meal.
What could be the cause of this? Since it works when I do it manually, the system should have granted permission for that action.

pawns still eat meals when you set them to breastfeeding diet? theres likely another mod conflicting with that behavior. send me a hugslog so i can diagnose your game

- Moved lactation bodily change settings to a new tab.
- Lactation may now completely change pawn's gender instead of just changing body type into female. Disabled by default.
- Lactators who are breastfeeding adults or children will now start breastfeeding without moving away a few tiles if there are no chairs in range to sit on.

OK! I understand about the information update. Do male pawns have breasts that grow during lactation, or do they need to constantly consume milklily?

all milk lily enables you to do is start lactation without either having a pawn give birth nor use lacton. if you want male pawns to grow breasts, all lactating pawns can slowly grow their breasts as they lactate, but from last update, you can now set at which lactation stage pawns get genderbent into female. this means replacing all their private parts into female private parts if you use RJW

I tested the drug on pig people - lactation does not begin. is it a mistake or should it be?

The male pawn is 32 years old, pig race. I gave the drug 3 times, lactation did not appear on the health tab

maybe its sa0 description problem my cattle pawn had massive breast but is a DD cup , when i click breast at health tab in character editor it updates to enormous and correct cup size weird .. but its okay small potato stuff

## Changes
- New column on the lactation tab to set if a lactator should only milk themself.
- Rerranged columns on the lactation tab.
- Pawns will now breastfeed to fill their hunger bar instead of breastfeeding need whenever they go to fill their breastfeeding need and their hunger's wanted nutrition is more than the amount they would drink to fill breastfeeding need.

 

## Bug Fixes
- Fixed milking thoughts having ideology of the one who's milking the lactator and not the lactator's own ideology.
- Fixed milking social thoughts error if there is no pawn milking the lactator, i.e. using any type of milking machines.
- Fixed human cattle specialist checks returning true for pawns without ideology.

 

## Other Mods
- Overwrite Mixed Breeding Genes's patch that makes pregnancy approach for lactating pawns unchangable, thinking they will have low fertility.

I found the problem! In the settings for the FrozenSnowFox Tweaks mod, there is a "Biotech" subsection with a checkbox for "primitive fertilization procedures"—that was what was breaking the mod!
